Considering in the first movie, they barely outran the trex in a jeep
You know the max speed of a T-Rex is 12 mph (by measurement any more and its shins would shatter - they mostly just fought over kills and carrion) and the record for a woman in stiletto heels is just over 15 mph.
It is 100% plausible bdh in top shape could outrun a T-Rex in heels
Except in the first movie they made it clear that this very same T-rex runs at 35 mph.

As an actress, y'all ever consider SHE HAD NO SAY IN THE MATTER? The lady from EW is asking the wrong person. She knows it. The lovely Ms Howard knows it. Hence her answer consists of giggling and a bit of "yeah, ya get that" kinda vibe.
Finished with a bit of "oh yeah, and corporate chicky."
Jeez I tell ya what else the lovely Ms Howard could let me do to her while she's wearing high hee.. No.. Wait.. I meant what else she could do wearing high heels. 😁
Yes she did, especially if she's doing her own stunts. Similar to Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) or Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), both characters wore wedges. Gal and Scarlett did some of it, but wore flat shoes for the action scenes. For Ryan Reynolds Deadpool who had a scene shot in heels at a club, they hired a pro dancer (forgot his name) because he could do stunts in heels as a man where as Ryan couldn't. They all have choices, none of them are forced to do it.
its not about people could believe the dinosaurs weren't real and but the heels were ,its about immersion break its like farting or burping or answering ur phone in the middle of ur proposal.
I had searched to find out how many pairs of shoes you went through in Jurassic World and whos shoes? Who made such great shoes you could run in them. People can be so judgmental...what did they expect a person in your job to wear? And were you supposed to run back to somewhere to find sneakers? You also wore what you were wearing...duh! If they were caught in an emergency wearing their pjs and slippers or evening gown and heels, what would they do? Cry 'I don't have the right clothes for this!' ??? I haven't seen the other two yet but I loved this one and have watched many times. 👍🏻❤️👠

LOL. To this day I have always wondered 🤔 the same thing. How did she run in those heels? I think she ran around the entire movie in those heels. Enjoy the movie. One of my favorites.
Its unfair on the dinosaur/t-rex actress....she wanted to wear heels aswell but the fact she was a lizzard lizzo lizzard size 5k (thats 5000 size in comparison to human shoes/feet) so it made her a little self conscious....its the same reptilian actress who was a former child star (played the baby in disneys dinosaurs)....beyond cutedorable lol
So her explanation for her running from a T Rex in heels was "Yeah, I don't wanna run barefoot. She's a corporate executive. Yeah."

How about real t-rex’s weight and bone structure limited them to 12 mph and woman in stiletto heels record is over 15 mph. Plausible.

She couldn't bother to run without heels to make the scene more realistic? A lot of actors do way more than that to make the experience more immersive. No wonder the movie couldn't live up to its potential.

I thought no way! Its CGI,. Still think it is, she ran in a green room, easy to put high heels on. Here's the deal most women sprain an ankle walking in them, do you really think she ran all over the park in those high heels, Common man!

I fought my mind about this and just gave up BECAUSE ITS A MOVIE
Good, keep doing it. Her legs and how hot she looked in those shoes the only thing worth seeing in entire film.
