In the year Fallen Kingdom came out, I took regard of how big Avengers: Infinity War cast was. And there came one expectation of what the third Jurassic World movie would be like: that the old cast would return to join the new cast. So glad that happened. For the sake of nostalgia.

It’s going to be really hard for me to move on with the Jurassic Franchise ending. If anyone tried to make another dinosaur movie that is not from the Jurassic Franchise, it wouldn’t beat the Jurassic Movies because the Jurassic Franchise is the legendary franchise that made dinosaurs feel alive and natural and even the characters like Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler they grew on us. I mean sure anyone could make a dinosaur film but it couldn’t offer us anything better than the Jurassic Franchise.
Nothing in the trailers looks like an animatronic except the baby triceratops. I honestly thought Blue and her MIRACULOUS baby were fully CGI, so seeing that they used animatronics and I still can't tell it's not CGI is a very bad thing. They still blend it with layers of CGI and color correction, so it loses that sense of realism. The colorful dinos don't help; they looked much more real as drab colored.

A very unpopular opinion here, but I absolutely HATE practical effects. There is no life in them, they literally move as well as a robot. I understand it's difficult to do that with practical, that's why I think CGI is a million times better. Expensive, but better. Things look nicer, real and the animals actually have a soul. That's probably why I didn't like Dominion as much as the previous Jurassic Worlds, I could not be convinced there was a dinosaur there. In fact, the CGI was rough for a lot of the film, and that bugged me as well considering how amazing and elablorate the visual effects were for Fallen Kingdom. A downgrade if you ask me.
