After many hours of consideration, there is an actor who has what it takes to recreate Chief Inspector Clouseau. Tony Shaloub could pull it off. Or, Maybe the guy would played the Soup Nazi.
My dad took me to every Peter Sellers film when I was a kid. Peter was one in a trillion guy! All these years latter his films still make me laugh my ass off. You can tell he loved making people laugh and was happy to play the fool to send people to the floor laughing.
One has to wonder how they ever finished the film with all of the outbursts of laughter. Every time I see Peter in anything, it's is so terrible to know that he's been gone so long. A true genius.
Fantastically talented man, who fought so many demons in his personal life. He was one of the greatest ever chat show guests along with David Niven. Peter Sellers was naturally gifted to make you laugh, he was a pure genius. Steve Martin is no where in comparison to Peter Sellers, his reenactment as Inspector Clouseau was a "Slap in the face" to Peter Sellers and to the Pink Panther movie itself.
Saw an interview with Dyan Cannon years ago, and she said that her Pink Panther movies took 6 months longer to make because she could not stop laughing. These great outtakes, Thanks.

Keith Jones LOL! love the Goons, they were all as mad as hatters but absolutely hilarious. I adored Spike - he was a brilliant man but suffered a lot. Urr...Michael Bentine (Senior moment!) very funny lol !:)
PETER SELLERS! This man is comedy, the pink panther movies are one of the most funny with pure talent ever to have been filmed. PETER SELLERS is funny even looking at him as inspector Clouseau, sorry...i mean Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau :) This man and the the stand up genius RICHARD PRYOR are sooooo missed!
If you can watch a Pink Panther Outtake without laughing, you must be DEAD! They make me Hysterical! Especially the last ones, farting in the elevator! WE MISS YOU PETER AND BURT! Rest In Peace.
Agree that we could do without the canned laughter. Sellers was sooo good in these films. I’ve been watching them for years and they never cease to make me laugh. Does your dog bite 😂😂😂
Oh man, that was awesome. Great job compiling all these outtakes. They really should have put them together like this on the DVDs. That last one in the elevator was the best. 20 takes and they still couldn't get through the fat sound without cracking up. LOL
It's so good to see this real side of Peter! He's a hero of mine and I grew up with his Pink Panther films, much to my benefit as a human, but I've never seen him just being a person cracking up. Thanks a ton for this compilation.
It must have been an utter joy to work on those films. I'm sitting here watching in convulsions. I wish todays films were as funny as these were/are. A HOOT>
The fart in the lift gag is hilarious... Could not hold my laughter in every time I would hear that fart sound... guarantee they'll fire me as an extra if I was in that scene... Too many takes would've happen... 😂

Steve martin was embarrassing as Clouseau.
I didn’t bother to see the remake. Nothing against Steve Martin, because no one but Peter Sellers could play Inspec, Chief Inspector Clouseau.
Don't ever mention that name again in connection to Peter Sellers.
