CUP FANNY PACK TUTORIAL

  • This cup fanny pack is a great way to carry essential things with you. You can attach these on your water bottle, your cups, Stanley cups, Starbucks cups and really any kind of cup you can think of! We especially find them extremely useful on a cruise. They are great for carrying out to the pool, when you normally will not have any pockets in your bathing suit to carry your key card, chapstick, and whatever else you need to have handy. Equipped with a lobster class, they can also be just hooked to your belt loop or your purse. There are many versions of a pouch like this, but if you would like to make this particular one, then we have included the measurements below.
    Be sure to give this video a thumbs up if you liked it and found it helpful, or fun!

    The measurements for this project are:
    Back fabric 4.25x5.25
    Front piece 4.25x3.75
    Front piece Top 4.25x1.25
    (1) 5” of #5 zipper
    Tabs (2) 2.5x.5
    .5” Lobster clasp
    (2) Elastic hair bands

    So adorable. Love how this little bag comes together and once turned it's just the perfect little gift for those you know who carry their CUPPA's every where with them. I am an utilitarian kinda sewer gal. Have huge supplies and scraps of water proof canvas, back pack clothes and marine canvas. All weather/water resistant/proof depending. So no need to search for it. I also have a good collection of vinyls. Otterex being one of my fav's. Just ordered an otterex vinyl in a medium to deep teal along with a matching clear bat design for friends in Australia who are fellow cavers. Plan to make 2-3 little bags out of the bat and teal and have a fluffy shag throw blanket to gift too. I'm behind getting these things finished but now I see I've got to include one to two of these little cup backpacks too. Thanks for this tutorial and share. I may be making 5-6 for my adoptive office. (When I found myself retired without a group of ladies to share such stuff with I decided I'd adopt one and that's 20 plus years ago.) It's all in good graces and just fun.

    I liked this idea so much that I liked and subscribed. I just made one from the off cuts of tote bags that I make from feed sacks. That makes this one just about waterproof except for the seams. The ideas are endless and thank you so much for sharing.

    So ?.just curious,. what do you do when the elastic stretches out or wears out? I've had bands that only last a few uses and some a long time..

    • @WombmateCreations
      @WombmateCreations  6 месяцев назад

      Well, that hasn’t happened but I would probably attach an o ring and then a new band

    Can quilters cotton be used? If someone doesn’t have waterproof canvas what other items would you suggest?

    • @WombmateCreations
      @WombmateCreations  7 месяцев назад

      Absolutely u can use whatever u like. Using the thin vinyl and waterproof canvas just make it pretty lightweight. I have also done quilted ones.

    • @WombmateCreations
      @WombmateCreations  7 месяцев назад

      You can use anything that doesn’t need a lining. Vinyl, leather, waterproof canvas and even a quilted piece for the front as well.
