This is exactly what I was looking for ... an easy to make fanny pack.
I will make one!
Just made this today. I added some interior pockets (one with a zipper and one without) and I left it square instead of adjusting the corners. I also changed how a strap is attached. It was really straightforward to make. The only limitation was my sewing machine because its not small enough to handle the circular sewing so that was a bit tough. Highly recommend this project.

Oh nicely done! I have made another Fanny pack but it doesn’t have the little depth like yours . I made going to make your version when it’s for girls like me who carry a little more stuff. I will make a credit card slip pocket so I can carry some credit cards and I will use this for travel with my cell phone and passport. Very convenient for easy access to passport at the airport security.
I was hoping I see a version that is compact but had some depth and here it is !!
I will definitely make some for my nieces and my sisters.

I used fusible fleece for this bag. And You can use jeans thread for sewing the webbing strap. Thank you.

Just note if you're sewing with a directional fabric and you want it "up" once it's done, then start with it upside down so at the end the side you want facing up actually is up.
