I preordered 4 of these and already have 6 of the shopkeeper dude. I love the classic Star Wars aliens. Hasbro team, if you're reading, thank you for doing a great job with these! This is definitely gonna be in the running for figure of the year. It’s gonna give the droideka and the SBD a run for their money! I’m always down for aliens in the line. Especially from the OT. But this took me by suprised just how much I liked it.
Momaw is definitely in the top three spots for the figure of the year!

I somehow got this a few weeks ago randomly from Pulse. Hands down one of the best TBS figures released this is what a premium figure line should be. The fan base should not have to complain about short comings and lack of paint but this is exactly what a premium deluxe should be. Hasbro, we don't care about how many different pictures you can put on the box, save that budget for paint washes!! Angrily shakes light saber at the sky while getting a cramp.
Bonus: All the Acolyte Jedi robes work perfectly with Momaw plus I gave him a green saber and now I have a cool new alien Jedi!

It's nice to see he comes with the same blaster as the Kenner original figure from the 70's! I've still got my original one along with loads of other figures from the time. Man I feel old!

Yeah that's the only reason I think they included that. Regardless of paint apps, I love that weapon design. When I was a kid I always wanted the battery powered one that had the stock that you could fold out.
I just want more Cantina members. Give me a 2 pack of Lak Sivrak and Dice Ibegon. Give me Arleil Schous, The Tonnika Sisters, Labria, Kabe... I'll take them all!

@@OutOfTheBasement Mine is some crappy "Murval Dead-ends" figure I had to buy to get another BAF part... Despair? or something, and I gave him Doc Ondors robe.
To me, that seems like such a waste of Doc's robe. My opinion
@@theperceptor9287 It's a valid opinion Tom. My reasoning for it came about as I required Doc immediately to be Hammerhead, as I couldn't trust the 'Bro to eventually make the Cantina favourite. The robe obviously didn't look like Hammerhead, but secondary to that, it covered the entire Doc body, which I wanted to see, so technically, you could have had BOBF Luke's legs and torso under there with Doc's head stuck on it...
I don't care either about deluxe... If you don't like it, go and buy any of the other 6 inch scale Hammerheads that 23 different company's have made for £15...

I truly don't mind paying more for "deluxe" if the end result is quality. The paint on this figure looks amazing, he's kinda big, I'm in. But then take something like Cobb Vanth. That was a regular sized figure which they claimed was deluxe for paint and.... the figure was still full glaring of unpainted details that i had to paint myself. We didn't get what we paid for there, but here we do so I don't mind.

@@theperceptor9287 Absolutely!! 😃 I refuse to rest until I have all (approximately) 100 of my original Kenners in 6 inch form... (when I say refuse to rest, I really mean do nothing at all, other than cross my fingers they make them before the Line ends...) It was always my ambition years ago to display my 100 3.75 childhood figures alongside their BS counterparts.

Yeah I’m so itchin’ for the rest of the figures. I watched a video and turns out there are around 60 characters in that bar scene. Haslab perhaps? I don’t even mind if some of the extras are done without any articulation. Traffic cone to the max! But that Haslab will be an awesome project.

Great Review Guys! So happy we finely have The OT OG Momaw (Sticky Fingers) Nadon. Very impressed that Hasbro gave us a mostly NEW Ithorian Sculpt, mostly the paint and light weathering are perfect on Hammerhead but would of loved that TVC blaster over the OT E-11

Hello Nate and Justin, thanks for sharing your thoughts on the new Hammerhead figure. Definitely a figure that I've been waiting for.
I got my Hammerhead figure in my loot pile at BBTS with some other figures. (Rex, Fox, Crosshair)
Now we just need Snaggletooth in the black series figures. I'd welcome both red and blue Snaggletooth figures.

Get that loot sent Tom!! Hammerhead is fantastic. I don't really like his clothes, but that is a minor quibble. I may even buy a second Doc and HH. If you take Doc's soft goods robe and then his plastic robe off, you are left with a sort of "onesie" thing underneath that can easily be painted blue. Swap the heads, then you have Hammerhead in his original kenner nappy/vest thing and a kitbashed second Ithorian you could make look different from original Doc, original Hammerhead and the kenner Hammerhead you've just made. I'm actually sold, typing this...

I'll eventually get my loot pile shipped, I've got Rex and Fox there as well. Gotta do the budget thing when it's the right time as you might expect.
@@theperceptor9287 The budget needs to be considered for sure, but I'd worry they might "fall out" of my pile and end up in someone else's!! 🤔 I managed to score Red/black box Aphra this morning, completely randomly after writing a comment to you! Thank you, sort of, for that! I was telling you about maybe getting a second Ondor and HH to make my own Kenner HH. When I went to check if Doc was still available, I found her in stock from the same place that managed to get some cw Ahsokas.
@@davidedge2828 Congratulations on getting the original Dr. Apra figure. I picked her up when she was out at a local GameStop, I think she was marked down to $20 maybe $22 dollars US. I already had both of the Droids and wasn't sure if I wanted her because I never read anything she was in. I had to get the evil Droids though, droids are awesome. 👍😎
I also got her comic figure last year I think, 🤔 both look great.

Got my hammer head yesterday & I love it with my ponda Baba & Dr evasan,greedo & the modul noodles & the rio durant, i stick zori bliss in that & aura sing & my custom aylaa & uulaa stripper in there & I will add more,not a screen accurate scene but that's what I like,the Ralph macaurie style I love just random stuff,great fig review from both of you this time which is cool to see, hammerhead is here WOOOP

As I regularly said, It was one of my favorite original figure of 77. Hasbro do it right! I got 2 !!

I’m glad this came out 😊 but I have a genuine question about how Hasbro decides a particular character would come out in the black series?🤔 Quintana Vos, Shaak Ti, Barriss Offee or Luminara Unduli have not been the black series yet 🤨 If you want them you have to get them in the vintage collection.
It depends. They have to prioritize a lot of modern Disney media characters. I'm sure they try to strike a balance. We just got Ki-Adi-Mundi, Super Battle Droid, Droideka, kid Anakin, Padme, and new clones this year for prequel type stuff. -Justin
He is outstanding. Completely knocked out of the park. For me Second best fig of the year only to the true toy engineering and aesthetic Achievement that is the droideka.
If this was a standard figure then he would have little to no paint and it would be a far less attractive and successful figure. I will pay 34 bucks all day every day for Star Wars figures with this quality sculpt and paint. Sign me up.

The E-11 is the least random accessory this guy's has ever come with because it's straight out of his story from Tales From Mos Eisley Cantina

How this guy is considered a deluxe is beyond me. Given the amount of reuse, lackluster accessories and lack of paint, I'm not seeing the value here. The sculpt is great, as usual for Hasbro aliens, but this guy is going to be heavily discounted in the not-so-distant future, I think.
Lack of paint? For a Black Series figure this thing has more paint than any in the main line. -Justin
@@OutOfTheBasement It does, which speaks more to the dire state of paint apps in TBS than anything else. Still for something with a 40% price premium over a standard figure, I'd expect more. ROTJ Boba Fett is probably an example of a figure done better, but even he needs a wash on his main suit like Nadon here. No wash on a 'deluxe' figure is pretty embarassing regardless of whether or not it's the standard in the line.
