There's no such thing as common sense. If there actually were, we'd never disagree about the things we'd know because of it... and yet we do.. and that is common sense.
Obviously no where near as good as you
‘Should be about ability, not equality’. Love it!
Truer words have never been spoken.
WOW I am now a fan of Sir Geoffrey. The bloke talks common sense.
Thank you Nigel and GB NEWS for getting Geoffrey on TV.... Sounds like the other networks n stations have cancelled him how rude
G.B talks truth than my own country Canada. Weak P.M Trudeau
How did that virtue signaller get away with black facing in this day and age…?
Adrian Ventura Official It's almost like all this self-righteous offence-taking is selective, simulated, and merely a means to take down those whom the establishment consider a threat to their interests.

I watched a recent session in the Canadian parliament, it was painful. Mostly just childish deflection of questions. Even his cuckold father's party wasn't this corrupt, stupid and morally bankrupt.
The man, the legend is a dying breed. It’s not about talent anymore , it’s all about box tickers. Non worse than the British Bias Charade. Great interview .
Geoffrey and Brian, one had small balls the other had bigger balls but both behaved beautifully and were never bashful with their balls or bats. Amen.
One of the best batsmen for England. Ever.
One of the most boring batsmen!
Whether anyone thinks he was boring or not, he got the job done!
@@PhilUKNet Rubbish, he saved many a collapse of batsmen by keeping in.
@@PhilUKNet He was an opening batsman. That's what they are for. Wearing the opposition bowlers down. But today it is not the same game, very often.
@@z0770z Boring as hell and only interested in his own average. People would pay to watch Botham or Gower, but Boycott was only useful as a cure for insomnia.
He’s forgotten more about cricket than the current box ticking commentators ever knew.
Legend of cricket, and a top bloke. Pity the BBC saw fit to replace him with a bunch of unknowns .....
Would love to hear what he really thinks about the BBC...
@@johnturner1073 Er, NO.
Isnt it absolutely pathetic that were so starved for this that it seems exceptional? This type of content was 95% of TV 30-40 years ago, but now its hard to find a straight, white Englishman on TV, and to find one with common-sense opinions that the majority share is near impossible.
WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Thank god I live in France where I am not surrounded by right wing bigots like Farage and your good self.
@@malcolmf1381 And here we go with typical left-wing double standards and hypocrisy. If a black person or muslim expresses a wish to see black or muslim positive role-models on TV and media in general then thats perfectly fine. Likewise if theyre gay or trans. Ditto a woman. If any of them express a preference or even a desire for their MP to be the same as them thats fine. Its perfectly acceptable and logical that these groups of people empathise with poeple who are the same as them. But as soon as you substitute any of these for "straight/white/male" and god-forbid all 3, then that person is a bigoted, hateful, spiteful monster who is just one moustache away from committing genocide. The most hatred out there comes from the left.
@@ravenmasters2467 You seem to have a knee-jerk reaction to criticism, which is both identical to what you attempt to criticise, and is similarly predictable. In essence however, you're arguing for a return to a status quo when ALL we saw were people who look and think and act just like you. That simply won't hold water.

I never call any man Sir. You have to earn respect not just want it because of some English title given to you . Sir Geoffrey Boycott and many others in the old school English test cricketers have earned their respect . This coming from an Aussie test cricket lover and fan that believes in the ashes for ever .
I once asked Sir Geoffrey if I could have photo with him in the 70s. he put his arm round me as if we were the best of friends. It make for a great photo. This man is a true Gent.

Hitler had strong values, so using that phrase doesn't make those values good.
Absolutely love this guy, true brit.
Yes! 🇬🇧
Was never a big fan of cricket until the last ten years, it ain't so big in the North of Scotland... However, this was one of the most enjoyable interviews I have seen in a long time, Sir Geoffrey is a true gentleman speaking from the heart. He would make a great representative for the working class. Would love to meet him.
He's often annoying, irritating, bloody minded and stubborn but I can count the number of times Sir Geoffrey Boycott was wrong about cricket on one hand and still have most fingers left.
Well said. It did make me laugh when he talked about speeding up the game though, considering how often he used to slow the game down!
@@sportysbusiness his argument was that the game should be sped up now due to the absurb cost of the daily tickets, for the sake of the fans. As for test cricket 40 years back... due to modern day tech and how 'quick and easy' life can be people these days potential new fans dont have the patience for 5 day tests. Slowing down the game can be a very useful tactical move but it doesnt adapt well in the modern day.
Yes, yes, yes and yes
A man of integrity, my late father was a big fan and he would always say when the sun came out this is Boycott weather, and more often than not Boycott would grind his way to a big hundred either for Yorkshire or England, we could do with him now that's for sure.
Nigel is a excellent interviewer. 👍
I’m an American I love GB News, hope Mr Neil comes back, really enjoy Nigel, so much so I watched enjoyably I will add, his interview Sir Geoffrey, despite the fact I know nothing about test cricket.
He should be commentating on the TV today.
He was in the commentry box for years.
Impossible nowadays. Woke ...lefty lovies !
@23 90 I suppose that's why he's so popular in India.

Damn right he should!
Talking pints is just brilliant. And I remember Sir Geoffrey destroying bowlers without breaking sweat. Legend
I can listen to Sir Geoffrey talk all day.
I have always liked Geoffrey, but I am a Yorkshireman, so I would. But you have to admire his bluntness and honesty wherever you are from.
Sir Geoffrey Boycott - national treasure!!
For Geoffrey when he was still a young batsman:
“Freddy Trueman bowling at Headingley in the 1950s. Runs in almost from the boundary where we schoolboys were watching. The ball is at the body line and hits the batsman on his box. He goes down writhing in pain. Freddy loudly says “hey lad, don’t rub em, count em!”
