Abreva has been a game changer for me. It speeds up healing time by days, not "a day"! I've gotten those blisters since I was in the 2nd grade and nothing has helped like Abreva. I get a fever blister pretty much every fall when the weather cools and my lips get chapped. Fever blisters are painful, and I highly recommend Abreva. It's expensive but it's worth it.

I’ve suffered from cold sores all my life (64) and I’ve tried everything! I’ve tried every OTC med/ointment and numerous prescriptions for creams and antivirals. What I did notice was that some of the OTC ointments/creams that offered a bit of relief were the ones that contained L-Lysine. I did some research and bought some at my local pharmacy, it’s a supplement you’ll find everywhere vitamins and other supplements are sold.
At the first sign of a tingle, I immediately take 2 - 1000 milligram tablets and several more throughout the day. It completely stops it in its tracks. I’ve also woken up in the morning with huge blisters already formed and I immediately did the same thing and by the end or the day, the blisters had dried up and the swelling had gone down. I continued this for a couple of days because the outbreak was so bad, but by the end of the next day all that was left was a slightly pink area , which was fine and could be easily covered. This has been my go to for almost 10 years now. I have read of people using a daily maintenance dosage but I haven’t tried that because I rarely even get a “tingle” anymore. Everyone I’ve shared this with did a bit of research and then tried it with success. Always talk to the pharmacist while you’re there and ask him if it would interfere with any medications you might be taking. My pharmacist said it would be fine.

Abreva is amazing! Having cold sores at least once a year, I recognize the initial 'tingle' of an imminent outbreak. Applying Abreva from that first sensation has decreased the time of healing by MANY days! For me, it has made a significant difference in the anguish of dealing with a cold sore. You definitely need to apply it every few hours but that's a minor inconvenience compared to suffering for a week with a big open sore on your lip. I've found Abreva to be extremely helpful in shortening my outbreak. (I'm not affiliated with them in any way.) Thanks for another great video and Happy Monday!🎊✌️❤️

I don't care if betadine is messy i got used to it because i used to have feet baths three times a day with betadine scrub (aka soap) for 5 to 10 minutes because i had toe nail fungus and it helped me a lot. Also i put the lacquer for the toe nail fungus but my derm said first the area must be cleaned and disinfected and later apply the treatment. Now i don't have it 😅 i got it under control (healed). In the army i used body and foot powder a lot and it worked like a miracle no odor whatsoever 😊. Budesonide spray helps a lot with my seasonal tragedies 😅 like a magic potion ❤. Always always fragrance free diaper rash cream because it goes to the skin folds so it has to be odorless and one more reason is that the compounds of the fragrance itself might alternate and be more irritating than usual 😅. So many good gems ❤.

Lol. What got rid of your fungus exactly if you don't mind me asking? Thanks so much in advance. Also do you have any side effects from your Budesonide? Mines prescription strength and I think I may be having side effects for using it too long so I'm taking a break from it. I also just took oral Budesonide for a digestive disorder recently some I'm wondering if that's too much steroid for my system. I guess I should be asking Dr. Dray! Sorry!😂. Dr Dray does have hand videos you can check and she does mention hand lotions with SPF. There are also retinol hand creams from necessaire and soft services but Dr Dray and other derms have said you can use OTC retinols like olay, neutrogena, etc, on the backs of hands.

I am really surprised by what you said about feminine hygiene washes. I've been using Sebamed's intimate wash for some time now, under my doctor's recommendation, and I haven't experienced any side effects with it. However, if these products are really a scam, I wonder what we should use for that purpose. I've heard that regular body soap is bad for that area, since the pH levels are different. It would be amazing if you could provide more information on this topic, Dr. Dray. Thanks a lot!❤❤

@@onlytruth247 OK. I have the cream one and use it for down there, but not every day. Just on days when it’s hot or I’m working out. It seems to work well with little to no irritation, but I always wondered if I’m doing more harm than good long-term.
