Thanks, bro. Seems like a better way of how I did it, on Yuzu, but I already had everything set up on there so used this and something I found on Reddit to get it working. It's not perfect, but still amazing how well this runs on the Deck :) Thank you, I held off on getting this done for too long!

do you know how you got it to work on yuzu? it loads in desktop mode of my steam deck but not gaming mode
@@llamalover0709 You add Yuzu app image in the Steam application in desktop mod as a non-steam app, then load Yuzu app image from gaming mode and you can play any Switch games on gaming mode that way. I'm not sure if it's possible to play it directly, I didn't get that far since my fix was satisfying. Edit: Apparently I did it working as a standalone app lol I can't say exactly how I did it, but it's possible. Also, the controls are flipped. The app image method is the only way I get to use the normal controls
@@SavingPrivateBobit seems like your way is the best way to play this then. I just installed emudeck and yuzu. I can already play the base brilliant diamond but wondering if I should install the lumi mod but I was worried it wont work as there's no tutorial how to install mod on yuzu/steamdeck.

Around 60 but it drops occasionally not too big of deal though it doesn’t effect gameplay very much when it does drop

How long to wait after double clicking? It seems like my Steamdeck completely freezes after double clicking it. Doesn't even get to the loading screen with the Shaymins and Giratina. Is this normal?
Well, I figured a work around myself. I was trying to use Ryujinx through Emudeck and for some reason it was not working. I uninstalled Ryujinx through Emudeck and Installed it directly through Steam as shown in your video and it is at least running the games now. Now to get the mods to work.
Make sure you are on the correct update of the game. I wasn’t when I first did this. Once you do it will take a long time to load up at first but you’ll see the different Pokémon on the loading screen and know you did it right. The update and mod file are included in the link
When I try to open the zip file for the keys, it's not opening the two files in it. Can you set up separate download files for the prod and title?

Hold steam button + X to pull up on screen keyboard. Make sure you click in the text box before you do
So I got the mod working in Desktop mode, but not gaming mode with Ryujinx. Does anyone know how to get it working in Desktop mode with Ryujinx? It just loads regular Brilliant Diamond
I had issues with getting to work in gaming mode too unfortunately I couldn’t ever figure out how to make it work but it wasn’t bad using it In desktop mode
@@Dbiiird Here's the good news. I got it working in Gaming Mode. Someone here made a comment about doing this with Yuzu but it worked with Ryujinx. What you do is you go to Steam in Desktop mode, click "add a game" from the bottom left or right. Add Ryujinx the emulator itself. Then you select Ryujinx from Gaming mode, it brings up the menu where you select the game you want to play. It came up and it's the modded version. Here's the bad news though. The Ryujinx from Gaming mode doesn't carry over your updates, prod keys, mods, and firmware. Now the game version and mod I was able to add from Gaming mode Ryujinx. The problem is, when I try to add the firmware, it says it missing the prod keys thus it doesnt let me update the system to the most recent version. I don't know how to add the prod keys from the Ryujinx menu. Do you know way how? And if not does it matter? Because I played the game a bit, and minus a few slight framerate dips it was running fine from what I played.
Whenever I try to install the firmware, I just keep getting an error keys not found. I'm selecting the zip file and hitting okay, and then that is where the error happens. :(

Any idea why when I go to add the update, the add button does not open up? I have the update, but I cannot add it.
Try finding that update folder and drag the update file into it. Make sure it isn’t compressed or it won’t show up.

I don’t have a mods folder for ryujinx, i even tried to open it manually via right clicking bd
Make sure you have updated version of ryujinx. Did you install from flathub?
Make sure you have a ryujinx for Linux
Do you have the new pokemon game?
