The Bruins are getting pushed around. It wouldn't happen if Lucic was in the lineup.
Sofia hit the nail at the head. Neely created a soft team with no grit. We don’t win battles, we don’t out hit and we don’t win fights. It’s been like this for 9 years.
This series was over before it started when the B’s needed 7 games to finish off the Leafs. The win in game 1 was pure fools gold. Panthers have dominated possession and the expected goals battle in every single game including game 1. Bruins beat a rusty Bobrovsky in game 1 and that was that. This is just a repeat of 2018. Emotional game 7 win vs Toronto, fluky blowout win at Tampa in game 1, then 4 straight losses. Same thing is about to happen. Tampa was much better. Florida is much better. The goalie interference whining is silly imo considering the net was wide open and Swayman was not saving that puck with or without contact from Coyle. So let’s just relax and realize that the better team is rightly and justly up 3-1 in this series
The coach can’t control what Forbert does on the ice but he can control if Forbert plays. Why he decided to play an already marginal and hurt guy over someone as capable but younger, faster and not hurt is mind boggling.
Anyone wanna tell me how the second most penalized team in the league only has 12 thru 4 while the bruins have 24 penalties. Yeah they need to shoot more but kinda hard when your always on the pk
The Bruins are being overly aggressive in situations where they shouldn't. I know. They might be the more physically stronger team, but they always seem to be more focus in accreting themselves than actually playing the game of Hockey. They need to control their emotions better. They keep taking themselves out of plays just by making a hit in the middle of the ice or in FL side or the ice and that leaves them exposed to a counter attack.
I blame Monty for last years playoffs but not for these playoffs. However some of the player choices he makes still are mind boggling.
What about don Sweeney. Do they have a scouting department.
Choosing talent is that their problem. Everyone talked about BB was in picking talent, Sweeney makes Bill look like a Rhodes Scholar as compared to Don.
Team Composition? Regular season is step one, turn it up in playoffs. They do not turn it up. Where Pasta. Best players are the one’s who lead team forward.
“Good guys finish last”. Is this not the third coach who can’t get it across the finish line. How about composition of team. GM has a major piece of blame pie.

The Bruins have one first line player and maybe two true second line players. The rest are third and fourth line players. Jim should win another Jack Adams for the season the Bs have had. They have no business being in the second round. A major re-tool has to happen in the off season.

its just CRAZY to me how you are ALL running with the "sucker punch" rhetoric- oblivious to the fact that marchand was quite literally trying to hit bennett. if buddy was playing the puck instead of the man, he wouldn't have been driven into the boards like a drunk beer league alternate. florida is outclassing not just the boston bruins, but the entire boston media collective.
however we got bergeron, he needs to be replaced. We need shawn thorntons reincarnation in the back. Just guys who make other teams cringe when they see them with the puck. and surround them with cale makar type boys. I love sophia and she's the only reason id watch any B game atm.
Who is to blame for the Bruins loss? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the BRUINS -what being the vastly inferior team, being outshot and outchanced 2 to 1 for the whole series. It's like watching Canada-Switerland when the Swiss had an elite goalie
No brainer the refs they are horrendous never thought I would blame an official but the bruins can’t do anything and the panthers can do what ever they want horrible
