Body ground po or equipment grounding...kaha ng machine to ground...
DC ba yang supply nyo? or Ac
Ac po
As far as i know Sir...follow ko lng po standard computation nasa video po
Ac po
Yung ganito na formula P=IVpf
inductive kasi yung welding machine hehe
Dalawang 300A na welding machine anung brraker poba dapat gamitin
Follow lng po computation sa video Sir. Iba iba kasi yan dependi sa specs
watching lodi
Salamat sir.
I do not understand why the circuit breaker needs to be 200% of the I1max. I also do not understand why the conductor amperage and Guage size is based in the I1eff when it is smaller than I1max. Shouldn't the conductor amperage and wire guage size be based on the I1max as it is the larger amount of current?
Yes Sir. Our computation is based in our Philippine Electrical Code. And due to the inrush current upon starting our machine. PEC states that it needs to be not more than 200% of the I max. And also for our conductor size. It is also stated there that is must be based on the Duty Cycle of the machine. Since most of our machine basically cannot withstand the power exceeds its duty cycle
Thank you for that answer. It has been awhile and a lot of years that I have not been in the field. I am retired. In U.S. the code is a little different. I needed to learn some of the Philippine's codes plus I had forgotten some things and could not bring it to mind. I took the opportunity to ask you. I needed a refresher for sure. Thanks much. You got me back on track.
Wow. Thank you for watching Sir!
