In fig 3 the unit load is applied to D when we calculate the moment about A the detection of unit load is anticlockwise wise so it is negative but you should take it positive why
when HA = 100kn thn our assumption is wrong ,as we assumed HA going right to left but we took left to right as positive , thats means while calculating M we should take it as -100*x ???? pls reply

Since, anticlockwise or downward to the left of section x-x is considered as negative.
but its origin is D so direction is DtoC not CtoD
