Imagine being so "not on anyone's radar" that nobody cares enough to even cancel you. If anyone cared enough to do so, he'd be burned beyond a crisp.
All those millions of views spread across numerous channels and not one is a bored worker at RUclips, PayPal or the IRS. Come on detractors start applying for those jobs, nose ring, blue dyed hair and you are a shoe-in to make DSP understand true hardship and misery.
DSP is mad at arbitrary monetization requirements for the exact reason they exist. They were a way to stop random channels to upload garbage and qualify for monetization. DSP is the exact channel that wants to upload banal content to get cash. Jeez watching DSP makes my blood pressure spike so much. I swear, if you weren't commentating, I'd have some vein explode or something by this point.
Damn, that was my business model for starting an active channel. DSP has only grown since his return in subs due to detractor socks getting banned by DSP and the socks not then unsubbing. How do I know.... three socks three bans and still shows I am subbed. Well, not now. If DSP started a channel for the first time today but still had his whales and dents, he would not hit the monetization requirements. Sure he would get his Paypal tips but I doubt he would get past 500 true subs.

It's interesting to see when DSP REALLY tops out - it's 1100 something, botted, fake viewers. 5 - 20 people talk in his chat at any give time. DSP is the picture of a main road in North Korea, where the buildings up front are renovated and painted, and the rest is derelict. ALL facade and zero substance. Truly a master of scam.

I can't help but think it's not just his channel. It's all the tractor channels around it so if Dave gets canceled a lot of others you know will either go away or change their format. So you know RUclips will lose a lot of collateral damage if you will

The second he mentioned wanting to stream on a third channel, I knew it would be a ploy to get memberships. Just you watch, he's going to come up with some BS reason that people should be members. Not to mention streaming is when you get gifted memberships.
It's pathetic that he's this greedy and willing to financially abuse his audience, but even sadder there are people who finance this behavior.
I started to see the trend when he started to have that three months long decline in tips. He stopped asking for vest money and started asking for glasses money.
I figured at some point he would realize that he could capitalize on memberships but I never thought he would push three different channel members plans. Not only that, but 2 of the 3 memberships don't get you anything, and one of them gets you half of what is promised.
I don't think I've ever met anyone this willing to screw over a bunch of people for a buck.

It's always funny for me to think about how the guy who does nothing but waste people's time gets mad when games "waste his time." But he has no problem telling his audience that the first 15 hours of his videos are essentially a waste of time, but refuses to edit out some of the random running around or whatever to cut things down to help get to the good part faster. Then turns around and whines about how things "don't respect his time."
Edit: I commented too early. His idea for the new channel is to make you watch him waste your time while he wastes his time watching the first parts of these playthroughs that he himself says, by his own standards, aren't good until at least 15 hours in. Sounds good? Sounds good.
