Cold War animations are so inconsistent. Those animations made by Sully, particularly the XM4, AKS-74u, and the C58 were the top dogs but whoever made the AK animation missed the mark.
and then you have guns like the ksp, m16, and groza which seemed to be animated by the same person, and are also pretty good imo. but those are clearly going for a different style than sully's work.

The MW2 reload animations (and empty animations) are top notch. But the weapon models are a step down from MW2019. Nearly every weapon is black and some are honestly indistinguishable from one another. I wouldn't be surprised if this was done deliberately to encourage microtransaction and battle pass purchases for weapon skins.
@@sussyman9034 Many of the animations in MWII are reused from MW2019 but altered to add additional details or features/compensate for the new models. The Minibak however is based on the Bullfrog from BOCW, not the PP-Bizon from MW2019.
To be fair, infinity ward tried making MWII the same as the og MW2 with a more Hollywood approach after CoD4 and the same with MW19, those two being the more realistic games. But I do like MW19s art style and feel.

Absolutely. Mw19 is the most realistic game just like mw22. It has 7 times more better reload animations with mw19, and 9 times more better reload & inspect animations in mw22. Bocw seems to be rushed due to releasing new black ops in 2 years only, so after black ops gulf war (black ops 6). It wouldn’t be rushed anymore because it’s gonna be released in 2024. All reloads in bocw are robotic reload animations. As it looks like, it was little bit faster and had some skipping frames on it. The bocw takes 1984, and bo3 takes place at 2065. Bo3 reload animations aren’t robotic and bocw reload animations are robotic. It’s the opposite way. There’s a full of character robots which is the reload isn’t robotic, and full of human character in bocw which it has robotic reload animations. Even the health is same to bo4. Bocw had 150hp same with bo4 health size. Bo3 does have 100hp even it’s robot, and after bo4. It has 150hp same with bocw.
Cold war was supposed to be sledgehammer work but activision made sledgehammer work on another game so they let treyarch finish the game so yeah put atleast treyarch did a pretty good job
I think the devs decided to add an orange filter because the game is partially set in Mexico and TV shows usually do that to establish that it's hotter there.

Some effects was remade and others just removed (like the light exposure transition between close environments of different lighting)

And who the hell thought that adding a cheap Instagram filter for colors would make it look good lmao? Everything is so greenish. Literally just look at 0:56 where all 3 games are side by side. What the hell is that sky color in MWII? Look out of your window under similar weather condition without a lot of clouds, and you'll see that MW2019 pretty much looks exactly like real life in terms of color pallet and contrast. Cold War is good enough but is slightly over saturated.

I totally disagree, I think cold wars AK reload is just as satisfying as the other two. Especially regarding the sfx
