Thank you for your content! I replaced a dying battery two months ago on a 2014 Mustang and it failed inspection today for "Not Completed" O2 Sensor and O2 Sensor Heater. The other 3 categories were "completed". I was just told "go drive it and you can try again within 21 days w/o another charge". Your info will help me drive it through some specific cycles to hopefully get these to complete. I do have a OBD2 Reader, but have only used it until now to read & delete error codes, so you made me smarter! (Thank You Again!) I removed my battery myself, took it to Costco and swapped for a new Interstate battery then installed it . Battery was out for a couple of hours and didn't expect this to burn me today! I wonder if these codes would not have been deleted if I didn't have the battery out for 3 hours??
I’m glad the video was helpful on your mustang. You lose inspection monitor data even if the battery is out for 1 second so 3 hours or 1 second doesn’t make a difference.

I can't seem to clear the CAT and EGR monitors on my 1996 Tracker 1.6L 16v. No CEL lights or codes. I can't find a drive cycle for Suzuki or Geo anywhere. Any tips?
I don’t have the drive cycle for Suzuki but the egr sound be simple. No check engine light on, but have a pending 446. Evap and cat monitors won’t reset. How can you diagnose and clear a pending code? Can the cat monitor still go off so I can pass emission test. Can the pending code clear on its own?
You have some sort evap issue. You need to fix the evap relate issue clear the code afterwards. If you don’t clear the code after the repair the vehicle is going to detect the pending is no longer present and can clear it as well. Keep me posted.
Thanks for reply. I replaced vent solenoid ,purge solenoid and gas cap. With no check engine light how do I diagnose? Drove several hundred miles trying to get I/m ready. Should I try disconnecting battery and starting over?
