Shazam Shizzy well muichiro would’ve lived if he ran away since he was kokushibo’s descendant and/or succesor. kokushibo even treated muichiro’s wound. let’s just say that muzan is the worst demon, and he even gave ubuyashiki a curse where they couldn’t live at the age of 23+.
I find it ironic how, even though he killed off arguably one of the most likeable pillars and KNY characters in general, you just couldn't really hate him after finding out about his backstory. He's really just a product of his circumstances and was forced to be blinded by the darkness for how many years under Muzan. I think, inevitably, it was a good choice that the mangaka had this specific villain and that specific pillar fight off. One very likeable character and the other not so much until you understand and empathize with what cards life had delt him. This is easily one of my favorite arcs in KNY, and definitely one of the top overall. I cried when Rengoku died, but I cried when Akaza died too. (Really really wished Rengoku didn't die, but at least the manga's last chapter did him some justice)

Then he went to fight people and then was offered a second chance in life,the person who helped him offered him hand in marriage and the dojo since he nursed his daughter and he helped him but then the jealous people who don't beat him or akaza killed his father in law and his future wife when akaza was visiting his dead father to tell him about his marriage. After akaza found out he wanted to get revenge so he killed all the 29 or 26 or 24 people in there. It so unbelievable that the story of akaza remained fictional to people till muzan one day heard of a news of demon in the town so he went to look there shapeshift as woman and then didn't find any demon but he found akaza and turned him into a demon and akaza lost his memories and then got it back with fight with renguko and killed himself after. In the afterlife he apologized to his father in law and his father in law wished he could take him to heaven with him but he can't and his love hugged him and told him goodbye. If it truly his sister why the hell would he wanna marry her or kiss her? It's pretty obvious,its his fiance.

When the first time I saw Akaza, he killed Rengoku one of the most likable pillars and ran away cuz the sun was rising. So the first thing I thought about him was that he's a coward and I hate him with all my guts. I continue to hate him as he fought with Giyu and Tanjiro. Until they showed his backstory and how messed up his life is, as a human and as a demon. When I read his backstory, instead of hatred, tears start running down and all those hatred suddenly turn to dust to me. I couldn't stop crying. I was amazed that the author made me hate someone so hard for weeks but manage to make all those hatred disappear in just a day. Ngl I'm still mad at him for killing Rengoku but I don't hate him. It's hard to hate him now tbh. And again while I watch this video, tears starts running down again. This is so breathtaking and amazing.
Well, the guy fought 2 marked pillar level slayers at once and still could've won if it wasn't for his little humanity he had left. Honestly, Muzan lost the war after he lost akaza. Think about it, if akaza continued on and killed both giyu and tanjiro, who were both tired as fuck, akaza could've regrouped with either kokushibo or douma and boom, no way that the pillars fighing kokushibo that were having hard time killing, would beat both akaza and koku.
The rudest fucking about Hakuji's story is how we saw him fell to the lowest point in his life, recover from that, find *happiness* despite that, AND THEN HAD ALL OF IT SNATCHED AWAY OUT OF NOWHERE. He worked so hard to move forward after his father's death only for life to tell him his efforts was for naught in the RUDEST way possible and THANKS I HATE IT

Akaza was so strong that he could've surpassed douma if he ate women, but definitely not kokushibo. You see, Akaza's compass needle technique is so op, that as his opponents get stronger, he can better sense their battlespirit and beat them with his destructive killer technique by counter measures. So, that's the reason why giyu marked and tanjiro marked had such a hard time beating this guy, or any pillar whether he has a mark or not. The only way to beat him is the see through world technique (which only tanjiro, upm1's twin little bro, or upm1 have) or just being >upm2. Also, akaza was the important chess piece during the last arc,where if Akaza continued on, he definitely would've bodied both tanjiro and giyu, regrouped with either koku or douma, and the demon slayer corps would've been exterminated. Also, Akaza didn't "lose" against giyu and tanjiro; He killed himself.
But what about the battle spirit that tanjiro figured was Akaza’s technique? I love akaza so much though. Even in Mugen train. Because the fight was quite fair. I know he killed Rengoku and he was beloved, but Akaza won fair and square.

I just love Akaza even before his backstory was revealed in manga, his fighting style, his moral code, his personality and looks...OMG, he is amazing ❤️❤️
Just hurts seeing Akaza's story. His life was truly about to turn around for the better. He was about to marry the love of his life with his master as his father in law and father figure after losing his own biological father and inherit the dojo. And then some jealous and cruel people took that future away from him. We already know Hakuji is an all or nothing person as well. When he loves someone, he loved them with all of his might. He threw away his reputation and got jailed over and over if it meant he could steal enough money to buy medicine for his father. So Hakuji's rage led him to massacre those people who killed his new family. This even manifests in his demon self, where he still uses his master's techniques, fireworks bursting, refusing to kill women, and the snowflake motifs reminiscent of Koyuki's hairpin. The original Hakuji wanted to protect the weak, but this desire got twisted into Demon Akaza hating weak people. When really, in truth, he hated himself for not being able to help his loved ones and people who were cowardly like the rival martial art dojo. He didn't even choose to become a demon. He lost all desire to live after his beloved family's deaths. The most bittersweet part to me is that, in the end, his story will fade away and unknown since there is no one to tell the tale. Only we, the readers, learn his story. Tanjiro and the rest of the cast will never know. But I suppose that in a way is beautiful too since we are humans and such is life. Someday things will be lost to time and new stories will arise.
Akaza just wanted to save his father but later failed to. He got another chance at life but it was taken away from him as well. Turning to a brainwashed demon he killed many people yet he never killed a woman as he still hangs on to that piece of humanity in him. In the end he never got to with his wife but atleast he doesn't need to suffer anymore.
It’s sad to think that Hakuji could have lived his life happy with a stable running dojo, a loving wife with a great father and maybe even have kids if it weren’t for that cruel incident. But at least he’s with his family now. (Also the Kimetsu Academy shows Hakuji and Koyuki together and possibly even married so *fist pumps the air*)

I watched this animatic in the beginning of pandemic, or at least the first few seconds because I realized it was a massive manga spoiler and back then I had only watched the anime. But the first few seconds of this animatic was so perfect. The movements matched the beats, and the soft drawing style made me want to catch up to the manga, which was at its final chapters, just to watch this animatic. And the rest of the animatic did not disappoint. I feel in love with this song and Akaza’s character (&backstory). I’m glad i subscribed to your channel afterwards.

Hakuji was born and raised in the slums with a sick father he deeply loved. To pay for the medicine, Hakuji took pickpocket the townspeople, but was arrested three times. The judge beat him and marked him with tattoos, threatening to cut off his arm the next time he was arrested and called him "the demon's child". When Hakuji returned home from his third beatings, a villager informed him that his father, after hearing of his arrest, had hanged himself. In the letter he left behind, he said that he wanted Hakuji to live a full life and would not want to take medicine if it was obtained by being dishonest. With his evil tattoos and no home to return to, Hakuji is eventually banished from Edo. Suffering from the loss of his father and resentment towards the society they live in where he cannot afford to buy medicine for his father, he fights with people and beat them. One day, after nearly killing seven adult men in a village, Keizo, the owner of a dojo in the village, approaches the man's cheerful demeanor, Hakuji challenges him, but get defeated easily.
Keizo took him in so he could nurse Koyuki, Keizo's sickly daughter. Her mother, her previous caretaker, drowned herself due to stress and Keizo had to work handyman jobs to keep them afloat, so Hakuji was tasked with tending to her. Already accustomed to tending to his father, he had little trouble tending to her, though he found it awkward whenever she burst into tears. One of those times, unbeknownst to him, he had indirectly motivated her by telling her that "there will be a next year" to see the fireworks.
Three years later, she was in good health and could stand and do chores. He continued training as Keizo's pupil of the Soryu style, and the dojo began to grow. One day, Keizo offered Hakuji to take over the dojo-and take Koyuki as his bride, to Hakuji's surprise and embarrassment. He agreed, silently vowing to protect both of them, even at the cost of his own life. At a festival, Koyuki told him of her past, asking if he was really okay with the proposal, to which he reaffirmed his vows to her, promising to protect her for the rest of his life.
Tragically, this vow was short-lived. He took a short trip to visit his father's grave and inform him of his marriage, but quickly realized something was amiss upon his return. A student from the dojo informed him that their rivaling kenjustu dojo, which had always sought Keizo's land for themselves and prevented him from getting any students until Hakuji's arrival, had poisoned the well from where Koyuki and Keizo drank water from. The two died shortly after drinking that water while Hakuji had been away.
Enraged, Hakuji killed all sixty-seven members of the rivaling dojo with his bare hands, pulverizing them to the point where their corpses were no longer recognizable. This incident caught Muzan Kibutsuji's attention and, though he was disappointed to find it had been a human rather than a demon who'd done such a gruesome act, he decided to become a demon, named himself Akaza

actually, Hakuji was sort of forced to become a demon. as after he killed almost everyone in that dojo he didn't care about anything anymore and when Muzan found him he turned him forcefully into a demon by making a hole in his face
When the first time I saw Akaza, he killed Rengoku one of the most likable pillars and ran away cuz the sun was rising. So the first thing I thought about him was that he's a coward and I hate him with all my guts. I continue to hate him as he fought with Giyu and Tanjiro. Until they showed his backstory and how messed up his life is, as a human and as a demon. When I read his backstory, instead of hatred, tears start running down and all those hatred suddenly turn to dust to me. I couldn't stop crying. I was amazed that the author made me hate someone so hard for weeks but manage to make all those hatred disappear in just a day. Ngl I'm still mad at him for killing Rengoku but I don't hate him. It's hard to hate him now tbh. And again while I watch this video, tears starts running down again. This is so breathtaking and amazing.

Well, the guy fought 2 marked pillar level slayers at once and still could've won if it wasn't for his little humanity he had left. Honestly, Muzan lost the war after he lost akaza. Think about it, if akaza continued on and killed both giyu and tanjiro, who were both tired as fuck, akaza could've regrouped with either kokushibo or douma and boom, no way that the pillars fighing kokushibo that were having hard time killing, would beat both akaza and koku.
When the movie comes out people are going to hate Akaza. But when his backstory gets animated they're gonna go 180° and love him.

When they animate Akaza’s backstory, I know I’m gonna die as well.
Akaza was so strong that he could've surpassed douma if he ate women, but definitely not kokushibo. You see, Akaza's compass needle technique is so op, that as his opponents get stronger, he can better sense their battlespirit and beat them with his destructive killer technique by counter measures. So, that's the reason why giyu marked and tanjiro marked had such a hard time beating this guy, or any pillar whether he has a mark or not. The only way to beat him is the see through world technique (which only tanjiro, upm1's twin little bro, or upm1 have) or just being >upm2. Also, akaza was the important chess piece during the last arc,where if Akaza continued on, he definitely would've bodied both tanjiro and giyu, regrouped with either koku or douma, and the demon slayer corps would've been exterminated. Also, Akaza didn't "lose" against giyu and tanjiro; He killed himself.
But what about the battle spirit that tanjiro figured was Akaza’s technique?

I just love Akaza even before his backstory was revealed in manga, his fighting style, his moral code, his personality and looks...OMG, he is amazing ❤️❤️

Just hurts seeing Akaza's story. His life was truly about to turn around for the better. He was about to marry the love of his life with his master as his father in law and father figure after losing his own biological father and inherit the dojo. And then some jealous and cruel people took that future away from him. We already know Hakuji is an all or nothing person as well. When he loves someone, he loved them with all of his might. He threw away his reputation and got jailed over and over if it meant he could steal enough money to buy medicine for his father. So Hakuji's rage led him to massacre those people who killed his new family.
This even manifests in his demon self, where he still uses his master's techniques, fireworks bursting, refusing to kill women, and the snowflake motifs reminiscent of Koyuki's hairpin. The original Hakuji wanted to protect the weak, but this desire got twisted into Demon Akaza hating weak people. When really, in truth, he hated himself for not being able to help his loved ones and people who were cowardly like the rival martial art dojo. He didn't even choose to become a demon. He lost all desire to live after his beloved family's deaths.
The most bittersweet part to me is that, in the end, his story will fade away and unknown since there is no one to tell the tale. Only we, the readers, learn his story. Tanjiro and the rest of the cast will never know. But I suppose that in a way is beautiful too since we are humans and such is life. Someday things will be lost to time and new stories will arise.
Akaza just wanted to save his father but later failed to. He got another chance at life but it was taken away from him as well. Turning to a brainwashed demon he killed many people yet he never killed a woman as he still hangs on to that piece of humanity in him. In the end he never got to with his wife but atleast he doesn't need to suffer anymore.
It’s sad to think that Hakuji could have lived his life happy with a stable running dojo, a loving wife with a great father and maybe even have kids if it weren’t for that cruel incident. But at least he’s with his family now. (Also the Kimetsu Academy shows Hakuji and Koyuki together and possibly even married so *fist pumps the air*)

I watched this animatic in the beginning of pandemic, or at least the first few seconds because I realized it was a massive manga spoiler and back then I had only watched the anime. But the first few seconds of this animatic was so perfect. The movements matched the beats, and the soft drawing style made me want to catch up to the manga, which was at its final chapters, just to watch this animatic. And the rest of the animatic did not disappoint. I feel in love with this song and Akaza’s character (&backstory). I’m glad i subscribed to your channel afterwards.

Damn, this reminded of that sad moment in the manga were in the fight between Akaza and Tanjiro/Giyuu, Tanjiro sees Akaza smile and smells gratitude as Akaza blew himself up using the same technique he used to kill Rengoku, to stop his regeneration. Thank you.

Reasons why AZAKA is my fav demon:
He’s the most respectful demon there, he doesn’t hurt women nor children, and when he was fighting rengoku he didn’t kill him without mercy, once he inflicted a fatal wound, he told rengoku that his wound would kill him, so he should become a demon and live on.
He has a rlly sad backstory, making me feel really bad for him, all he wanted was to be loved, because both his wife and his wife’s father, aka the only people that has ever shown him love, died.
Human Akaza is a broken Demon but Demon Akaza has kind of Humanity in him
