Following the advice of Sam and Highlife, I used the source and convert service on my recently delivered Reflex Silver T6.1 Highline. The service was impeccable and the end result absolutely faultless. I highly recommend this option to anyone considering getting a camper but not entirely sure of what they exactly want.

@@mmshaw6262 I used Highlife Campers to source the van ( which was found in Chelmsford Essex ) I then visited Highlife Campers to determine the specification. I recommend this approach to ensure you end up with exactly what you want

I'm retiring next year and thinking about a SWB camper van. First thoughts are the eye watering cost of buying these puppies. I'm sure there's a good way to get a good result without selling the family jewels and that's where the smart choices are made.

The cost of a VW van is the cost, and the conversion is the same, so you can try and find a creative way of bringing the price down, but ultimately you will have to make sacrifices, unless you have £60k-£70k to spend.
