Two playable protagonists are fun. With each new installment, I think fans complain and complain about anything new. I personally think each new game going forward should go for two protagonists. Bayek/Aya would have been fun, Alexios/Kassandra would have been fun, and so would a game with Eivor and Basim. This game hasn't even come out, and people have literally bashed every single thing the game has done. They have shown in this game that it is revamping the open world aspect. It's also worth noting that this is an anthology, not a direct continuation. The games definitely feel connected, but we have to understand that each new game takes place in a new setting, with a new protagonist, and a new retelling of another piece of our own history. I can see why some people are furious with different controversies in this game, but you have people that complained when two protagonists felt the same, and now that we have two completely separate protagonists with their own kits and abilities, that is somehow a problem. As a member of the AC community, each game does something different from the other, but each fit their narrative in an overarching theme of a battle between order and chaos that has gone on for ages. Of all the franchises we could complain about being similar to each other, Assassin's Creed is one that should be looked at last. CoD, any sports game series, and even older series like Sonic and Mario have multiple games with the same gameplay over and over again.
Wow, you nailed it mate 🤙🏻 I could happily get on board with 2 protagonists provided they both were separate experiences that still relate to the Creed, also I understand that the series aren’t directly continuing from one another, but after 13 games I feel like the roots of this secret world organisation would show a little more, just with simple references on how we may come across other assassins from other regions when doing missions in different locations. I guess personally for the most part it was how Mirage presented that got me worried, it was a great game but it felt abit more of a blank canvas compared to the earlier days of the Ezio collection. 😁🤙🏻 Thanks for commenting
They do have games that have two protagonist’s and my guess is that the developer wants you to do two playthroughs of their game one example is Alone in the Dark you have one playthrough with protagonist Edward Carnby and then you have a second playthrough with protagonist Emily Hartwood why they are doing this with Assassin’s Creed is a mystery to me because Assassin’s Creed has always been one protagonist for each game except for the exception of the one game with Jacob and Evie Frye as twins but in that game they worked together they weren’t separate protagonist’s
They’re trying to add elements into their games that best suit them to keep players interested in Assassins Creed but by doing all of this they’re not making games about AC at all 😂🤙🏻 Thanks for commenting
Jacob and Evie not feeling like separate protagonists is a big reason some disliked the game. Jacob was supposed to be a combat assassin, while Evie was supposed to be more adept for stealth. This game has a combat protagonist and a stealth protagonist, offering any gamer or fan a different way to play the game. If you want to be an assassin, Naoe is the choice. Want to be a samurai, play as Yasuke. Thank goodness they aren't going to play the exact same.
@@ac_nerd9794 Very well said! Maybe I’m wrong about the upcoming AC, maybe this is Ubisofts opportunity to get that part of their formula right 😁🤙🏻 Thanks for commenting
@@JTGamesEnthusiast I think we need an open mind to see how well they deliver. This team is supposedly fresh in many ways, and the same studio delivered Odyssey.
@ Great advice, when I end up playing it I will definitely take you up on that and remind myself these games are at the end of the day meant for our enjoyment 😁🤙🏻 Thanks dude
Black flag you don’t pass the mantle, you play as Edward the whole game , only in dlc do you play as adewale, also black flag came wayyyy before syndicate, there are no games in the franchise where you play as assassin and pass the mantle , if anything Ac3 fits more but there you play as a Templar first and then as his son and as the son you fight the dad
Hey dude! Sorry I didn’t realise I misspoke you’re correct there’s no ‘pass the mantle’ in Black flag but there is in AC3 in terms of character play (not creed), either way AC syndicate along with Shadows today is just not the right approach to a game where we’re so invested in a characters life in the past! One character in the thick of it all is more than enough and that’s Naoe 😁🤙🏻 Thanks for commenting
dont want to be that guys for the old ac fans but sorry no the new game WAY OUTPERFORM THE OLD GAME IN SALE AND NUMBER OF PLAYERS . we get it you like the old stuff but most ppl dont care about it .
I can confidently say this guy has never played assassin creed a day in his life
Wrong sir I’ve played them all 😁🤙🏻

Not sure what’s going on but none of what you said accurately describes this franchise
Sorry to hear that mate! Which parts are you referring too? 🤙🏻
The game reminds me of Ghost of Tsushima or is it only me 🤔
