Thumb's up and well found, Sir! I'd happily give a good home to a '36D Quarter that has lived a full and useful life. I understand folks who yearn for pristine uncirculated coins, but one of the pleasures I feel in an old coin that's been knocked around a bit is a sense of connection with all those in the past who'd held it before me. Whether it's some Ancient Roman small change or an 87 year old quarter. Those who first held it may be long gone, but the coin remains. A quarter nowadays may barely buy much more than a gumball, but in its heyday that coin could have bought a fairly decent dinner at a diner or automat.
