Honestly Andre really knows how to pick them. I miss her too. ❤️
Goosebumps and tears every time. Thank you Mirusia, thank you. ❤
Спасибо за возможность это слушать и Смотреть на другом конце планеты.🙏🙏🙏💗💗💗❤😆♥️💋💋💓
What for a voice! ❤️😪❤️😪❤️
Mirusia owns this song! I have seen her perform this live and it is stunning to watch and listen too!
Beautiful voice x just amazing xxx
That extravagant voice.
This performance is very moving. Talented singer, gifted conductor and violinist. What a combination! The world is a beautiful place when there is so much to give to the world!
Gracias a los dos!!!!
She has a totally magnificent stage presence.
The hands thing may apply to a different performance, but the hand gesturing here adds to the excellent performance and sound, especially considering the words of the song. I guess some people like an emotionless, undramatic performance. This is indeed near flawless!

I can relate to this song 100%
Listening to her, I cant help crying.
I sing this song myself, when i do, I must admit i also do those hand gestures, and at the end, I do the same, it helps me reach the high notes much easier. But maybe thats just me?!
You were once my one companion
You were all that mattered
You were once a friend and father
Then my world was shattered
Wishing you were somehow here again
Wishing you were somehow near
Sometimes it seemed if I just dreamed
Somehow you would be here
Wishing I could hear your voice again
Knowing that I never would
Dreaming of you won't help me to do
All that you dreamed I could
Passing bells and sculpted angels
Cold and monumental
Seem for you the wrong companions
You were warm and gentle
Too many years fighting back tears
Why can't the past just die?
Wishing you were somehow here again
Knowing we must say, "Goodbye"
Try to forgive, teach me to live
Give me the strength to try
No more memories, no more silent tears
No more gazing across the wasted years
Help me say, "Goodbye"
Help me say, "Goodbye"
There's nothing wrong with her hand gesturing, it's perfectly appropriate for this piece, very expressive. Such a graceful angel!
Thanks to Mirusia and Andre and JSO beautiful performance to Jose Carreras´ leukemia gala, I can go to see open air concert Jun.28/12 at Tallinn Song Festival Grounds
These concerts make a difference.
I must admit that I think her rendition is one of the best concert versions I've heard. Obviously it doesn't have the dramatic tension that you get during the actual musical, but to actually perform the song as a stand-alone, this is a gorgeous rendition. That last note is stunning.
Thank you. ❤
see..... La vergine degli angeli and Solveig's song just stunning both of them...Pure perfection.........
This is so beautiful, and i have always loved this song. Just an amazing video. :)
she's great!!!
Excellent performance.
감격 스러웠습니다
Wow! What a glorious ending!
A wonderful song performed by a gorgeous singer. Thank for sharing with us.
Mirisia e' un tesoro nascosto. Dolce. Bravissssss
Magnificent 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh soooooooo beautiful absolutely stunning voice - my new hero !!!
Semplicemente fantastica,non teme confronti!
Mirusia hat schöne Stimme😄
💐O, 🎤MAESTRA🎶 MAFIOLETTI, 👌YOU ARE WONDERFUL MUSICER!!!🍀🍀🍀
She's no Mafioletti, dear. She is Mirusia Louwerse, daughter of Polish lady from Australia and her dad I think is Irish or Dutch...
lindíssimo, maravilhoso.

HI ! very, very Good!!
Now THIS is Christine!
Seriously, somebody needs to get this girl into an adaptation of "Phantom" that's faithful to the novel. She has an AMAZING voice and she's a blond, just like how Gaston Leroux described Christine in the book. :)
its a very hard song great job!
Aqui. Los llamamos profiteroles...Son bombas de crema con caramelo!!!!
WEll I have to agree ..she IS VERY VERY good ...in a dramatic sort of way ..and wow!! VERY talented.... and Id go and watch her any day...... but I still prefer this.. and Emmy Rossum?? obviously it sounds great in a production..but for purity.. this is a young singer who is both stunning and Hypnotic... and its all so effortless and joyfull ...how singing should be.....! my vote stays here ;-)
wow !! I sang this when I was 12 .I will put the link on here. hope you all enjoy.

😍
agree with both comments ..the hands though ..not really a problem....
I've never heard it sung in this key before! I've heard orchestras play it, but never someone sing it! She did a beautiful job, and I agree with you EuropeanGodess and ClassicalRelated...I don't think the hand gestures fit the song at all. It's a sad song! I don't know anyone in mourning who would use such intricate hand gestures while singing, or even talking, about their loss. Some hand gestures certainly, but not something so grandiose.
Didn't keep me from getting chills tho. ;) Beautiful!
schone
immer gut
who can help me ?????
I'm lookin for Andrew Rieu's DVD concert
I couldn't find it in my country....
ALSO....... look at "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again in Australia" .its a much better quality sound .........

Заварожвае....
Гэта iншапланецянка!🤔
携帯は駄目です。明日電話します。
Sorry, I think that's total nonsense. She's not only singing, it's also an act. Standing still like a statue would be totally ridiculous.
Mirusia is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and like Andre says...she does sing like an angel. She is,in my opinion, the best singer on the planet.
Gyonyoru
It's not necessarily as sad song. The way it is performed here is as one cherising the memories of someone she wishes were here. To me it shows tact how they were able to convert the words to that feeling/dramatization of cherising memories. Making this sad would not have been anything special... and moreover in my opinion would have made the song and performance boring
stunning performance, what a voice, beautiful...
MrPerthlad
@ClassicalRelated Waving your hands while singing is something that comes natural... I do it too, lol :D I think it makes the music flow more (if she would move her hands in very fast, short movements, her voice would sound much 'harder')
She could sing without it, but I like it... it makes it seem like she's feeling the music more :)
simply beautiful, saw it in life....what a great concert
The great singers use gestures; Brightman, Evancho, Louwerse, Turunen...they all do it. They can't stand like a cigar store Indian they have to move. And you can see their hearts in their eyes, especially Mirusia. IMO she is the #1 Classical singer in the genre today. Not opera. Classical and Classical Crossover. Andre really found an unpolished gem and turned her into a show stopper.
Само совершенство.. 😍❤️🌹❤💖🫠🫠💖💖❤❤🌹❤️😍💖💖
top responce
Boy you miss the masi expression of feelins.
It is an integral part of her singing,
Which is by the way the ultimate in clearness and purity
She surpasses Callas, E Schwartzkopf , Tiki Te Kand...
for those that don't understand German, just skip to 2:00 to when the performance starts, to make it easier.
ohhh =)))
phantom of the opera!!

❤
I enjoy to view the video in general, time after time.
I do not care too much in minor details.
Those do not like the performance can just click to leave. It is a free world.
Omg. She has a very big mouth, hahaha.
No offence, it's extraordinary, I didn't mean it was ugly or anything.
I don't find the gestures with the hands annoying, but most of the times you just see her face and a rising hand, that looks weird. It would probably have looked better if we'd seen more of her instead of so many close-ups.
After three years I couldn't care less, if I did at all...
if you had any feelings at all you should shut your eyes, listen to the buitifull sound of her voice !then you could,nt see the silence of her hands!!
