Hey, thanks for this. I got my microscope a year ago but it had NO instructions with it and I could find nothing online back then. So it's lived on the shelf since. I decided to search again today. After seeing your video I feel a bit stupid as it's pretty easy to use! Strange how we feel intimidated by things when we don't know how even though they turn out to be so easy. I looked up this to get my microscope to work on my phone. I have watched a bunch of videos even one that basically shows this not working. Just a little in to your videos you mentioned the adapter. The seller never mentioned the adapter or any other videos. Very vague instructions.

YES ! I just received one of these digital cameras. Where can I find one of the adapters? I'm so old that if it doesn't use vacuum tubes I don't have an electronic clue as to how things work.... Haha

Is this a dynolite? Or some knock off. If your looking for broad mites it wont work for this specefic application. Ive bought multiple handhelp microscopes that clam 1000x and its not even close to 100x. If anyone know of a scope that can see broadmites/russets or cyclamen mites id love to know make and model. Okay so I did everything up to the point where u hit ok on all the allow options on the app once u open it . Once I hit ok for everything my screen was just black …? Any help ? I made sure it was all plugged in and the microscope light was even on

My android phone says it's a version 11. Every app I've downloaded for my microscope to work on my phone hasn't worked. 1 particular app said if you have a version 10 or above android phone the microscope will not work. What am I to do now??

I use my chromebook . Click on the bottom right side circle and it works .

Does it really works on Samsung j2pro because when i tried only light glows and the camera2fi shows black screen...
I am wondering why CameraFi2 wants to gain access to my Contacts and my Audio!? It doesn't need thbat to function.
Instruction is a POS. First thing is installation. Poor inst with camera make that a challenge.

How do you get it to work on the phone? we have nothing that comes up when we plug it in?
You have to use camerafi or camerafi 2 to make it work.

I have a Galaxy S6 and it will not recognize the microscope. I tried 3 adapters and about 6 software programs. I tried it on a J7 and it worked fine. Has anyone been able to get it to work on an S6?
I just ordered a digital microscope with the mini USB adapter for Android and when I got it it's type C male to USB female and I'm like this is supposed to work out of the box with my phone and my phone doesn't have type C on it. Wth
Mine has a dual purpoose plug. You flip the end up and it turns into mini usb.

Ok. I downloaded the camera Fi and CameraFi2 and the FIXscope apps none function. So do you have a vid that shows what you actually did to get the apps to function? I have the OTG usb adapter and the microscope lights up when plugged in. I am missing something here. My android is Samsung Galaxy J7 star. Thanks!😊
maybe you just have to flip the camera from front to back or vice versa?

If it's running android it should work.
FYI, that's not a "mini"-USB; it's a "micro"-USB connector. (I'm commenting at the start of the video, so apologies if you correct yourself later on...)

The user manual shows MOBILE PHONE SOFTWARE, the file then shows cameraafi.apk, when I open that file, it is in Chinese. I've been trying to find my next step. I've been trying to find a program to download to my laptop to read apk files. Why is this so damn difficult???HELP!!!!
You can just download camerafi from the play store.
i downloaded the app. When i put the cable into my phone the uab microscope doesnt light up, when i put in my pc it does go on.
Probably you have not turned on the OTG which located inside phone settings. You can try turn on the OTG feature and see
HEY u know the usb part that comes with it? thats what made mine not work i have the note s20 i had to use the usb adapter that came with my phone not the microscope to get it to work this product has terrible directions
