I thought the writing was going to be bad, but now I think people are hate-watching it. Qimir's argument makes sense. Osha doesn't really know these people nor has any reason to care about them; she got tossed out of the order and was taught to believe the Jedi were good and that's all.

Anakin was the child of prophecy but now Anakin was just some "experiment" palps did and now there's actually 2 children of prophecy that were born by a group of witches chanting "the power of one, the power of two, the power of many" Disney wars literally just breaks already established stories to push their narrative there was literally no point at all in making 2 children of prophecy other than to make them look "strong"

The writing of The Acolyte has never been "bad". Yes, some dialogue is a bit goofy and the pacing and rythm isn't always brilliant, but the plot is actually well constructed so far. I feel bad for some side character that could have had more space

No I think we are supposed to get the reference that he wants a Diad in the force like Rey and Kylo were. I think that's why that theme plays, why he can heal, and why he wanted Mae and now Osha. Either one could be his other half since they are the same? Idk. Dude, him literally killed her friends. She wasn't expelled; she said herself that she left because she wanted to. It's not their fault. Literally, one of them was a childhood friend and went to arrest her because she was accused of murder. They even brought a witness. He literally had no reason to believe she wasn't guilty. And when Torbin died and she reached his corpse, he defended her. The Zygerian helped her even though she barely knew her and was very kind to her. This guy is a psychopath, and trying to portray him as the hero is bad writing

Who said they are portraying him as a hero though? Manipulating people is exactly what sith and dark siders do. Just because he's convincing Osha doesn't mean that audience actually has to be convinced and that he's right about what he says. Seems like you just want an excuse to call it bad writing.

@@yggunshot8402 I've watched the entire series, and it goes from one inconsistency to another. She literally forgot that her sister tried to kill her. In fact, she said she was going to kill her to prevent her from leaving, and the series wants us to believe that Mai isn't crazy. The Sith has been playing the victim since he appeared. No, it's not hate against the woman; I watched Ahsoka and liked it, but this writing is inconsistent and, when not, confusing.

@@carlosdavidsabogalmotta4327 I'm not suggesting you are sexist or anything. What I'm saying is that calling it bad writing just because Qimir is charismatic is silly. Nobody says he's the hero or that we have to believe him, he's a manipulator who neither Osha nor the audience is supposed to trust.
As for the inconsistencies... I'm not gonna spoil the recent episode if you haven't seen it but you gotta watch the show. Most of the shows "inconsistencies" are not actual inconsistencies. Its either people interpreting things wrongly or jumping to conclusions when the show isn't even done.
Why are the twins not a contradiction of Anakin, Why did the witches just randomly die, How can the jedi currently know about the sith if they don't re-emerge until the prequels, Why did Mae try to "kill" Osha if she supposedly loves her *spoiler starts* (latest episode shows the same flashback from a different perspective. The scene in the current flashback was different and its revealed she didn't start the fire to hurt or kill Osha, she started it to burn Osha's jedi souvenir but dropped it by accident causing the fire to spread. She even gets scared when she realizes Osha is locked in, tries to put out the fire and fails. Osha only sees the fire so she assumes Mae was trying to kill her. At the same time Sol also used the force to give himself a vision of what was happening between Osha and Mae. It's also worth noting that the part where Mae says she could kill Osha doesn't appear in this version either. Osha either misremebered or had her memories altered by Sol).*spoiler ends*
All of the supposed inconsistencies I've mentioned can be justified by just being patient and watching the show or actually thinking about what you are watching.

@@yggunshot8402 Look, the thing is this: we are already on the seventh episode and they are not going to fix all their mistakes. It’s not possible for the last episode. It's the seventh episode, no one believes that at this point they are going to solve all their plot errors, especially because there's only one episode left. Lack of charisma is not the problem, it’s how the story is handled. They treat him like the good guy, the hero. Osha literally forgets that this guy already tried to kill her just because he's attractive. Being charismatic is not the problem, because Dooku was charismatic, but at no point did the story make you believe that he saw himself as the good guy. Here, it’s not like that. With that heap of mistakes, The Acolyte looks inconsistent, and it's not just those mistakes. Only the actors of Sol and Qmir seem to be putting effort into what they do. The twins, I don't know them from their other works, but their performances are bad. Qmir is incoherent because he has killed his friends, has expressed his intention to kill them all, and has kidnapped her. What does it matter if he's not in a hostile mode at that precise moment? Moreover, he already tried to kill her before. Besides, the fact that he is unarmed is irrelevant. What does it matter that he isn't holding a sword when he can make a hand movement and your head crashes against a stone without even being close?
And I watched the last episode, I saw it with the memories and everything, but I don't believe it because Mae killed a bunch of people for something that wasn't even entirely the Jedi's fault. Literally, her mother and the coven of witches die when they free Kelnaka, and the witches start attacking. Sol did go too far, but it wasn't that serious.
