Great video! Traveling with children can be difficult at times, but it is also extremely rewarding and it enriches their lives. My parents did it with my brother and me and we did it with ours. I had to tell my daughter when she was young that she was blessed to be traveling...believe me they grow up and appreciate the adventures they had as children. Now that my daughter is grown, traveling has become one of her favorite hobbies and I'm sure that when she has children she will continue the tradition.

Same!!! As a kid my grandpa kept a conversion van and we’d go to the mountains and the beaches every summer and fall! My mom sent us places with our dad ( they were divorced) and I did/do the same with my kids .. currently my middle daughter is cruising Mexico with her husband and kids 😍
I really enjoyed your video. I cruised for the 1st time with a wedding party in 2018 and had such an amazing experience. Carnival Vista made me fall in love with cruising. I'm looking forward to my next cruise being with my 13 year old daughter. It will be her 1st time cruising and I would love for it to be on the Mardi Gras Ship. Thank you for being so transparent and sharing the not so great moments with us at the end. It was refreshing!

I’m so glad I found y’all vlog! I’m relating to you Jazzy! Lol I’m originally from NY, married, two girls, and love a good cruise! We took our first two cruises with our kids. Carnival Conquest my oldest was 6. Carnival Horizon my oldest was 8 and the baby was 13 months. Needless to say that one had a few meltdowns. We are taking our first cruise April 2022 with no kids! The oldest was mad and I had to have the “Rich conversation” with her. I told her that she’s the most well traveled 10 yr old I ever met. She’s been traveling since 5 month old. My husband and I can’t wait for our first cruise post pandemic. I wish I would have saw your vlog on the Scarlet Lady before we booked with Carnival again but we WILL be getting on a Virgin Voyage next! Thanks for your content, transparency, and just being real!

Loved the vlog! How awesome to be amongst the first guests on board! Rich and Jasmine, thank you for being so transparent about what it’s like to travel with kids. I had to have the same conversation with my son about appreciating our blessings when we were at Disney last week. It’s hard to make them understand that the things they’ve experienced aren’t the norm for kids their age when they’ve been traveling their whole lives. Juggling two kids while boarding a cruise ship, vlogging, and going live at the same time…hats off to you!! You guys handle it so well and I’m sure Reign and Royce will look back at these vlogs and appreciate these experiences one day.

Glad to see other new yorkers enjoying time with family on a cruise. We are from western ny state. And what caught ny attention on this video is what Rich said. That you both are teaching the girls about life and what they have is a blessing. I try to teach my kids the same although 3 are now teens and oyt of the house i still got an 11 yr old at home and teach him the life styles and cultures of different countries and ethnic backgrounds. We are all the same wheather different in skin but we all are one human race.

The girls are just tired from traveling. AK Adventures mentioned you and so glad you got to meet them. My late father took 8 kids on road trip. Usually to grandma's house in Tunica Mississippi outside Memphis where I live. But it was the memories so you girls will appreciate that as they grow older. Love you guys.

I really hope y’all see this comment. I just want to say I truly appreciate this content with Kids. I’m hoping to branch out to do some videos soon on my channel. I have a 5 month old. We are going to book for later this year. She’ll just be turning one at that time. I am on the hunt for help for cruising with kids because my husband & all our friends are bringing our kids and 3 of them including mine will be one years old. So I’m so grateful for this experience I’ll have with my friends & the kiddos, but I want it to be special since we were so use to couples vacations & now we have to figure out vacation with kids while having fun. New subscriber to your channel. I watched this video because I wanted to see what it was like cruising with children now. I rely heavily on youtube when planning travel for my family. I really appreciated the end of this video when you spoke about your children needing to appreciate things. My husband and I have this talk with our children ALL THE TIME. I think, like you two, because we did not have these same opportunities growing up we try to compensate and make sure our children are afforded things we weren't. I totally understand because it can sometimes be challenging for us as well.

Enjoyed your vlog. Your family is beautiful. I took my daughter on her first cruise 8 yrs old. She was a very pickey eater. I thought she would starve. I've taken her on 5 cruises. When she reach 19 yrs old. I told her all future cruises she would have to pay her way. She's now 36 yrs old and haven't gone on one after that. Her reason, she has been to many ports. I'm Platinum on Carnival so that's how many she missed.

Even though you will sit them down and let them know that they're privileged and have more than most. The bottom line is kids will be kids. They gotta go through the cycle of being a kid so its okay and normal when they cry for no reason and act up. Trust me i understand totally. But mine is 21 now.

I remember taking my first cruise at 8 years old!! Keep the babies cruising girl. I am now 23 years old and just got off my 5th cruise last week and will be on my 6th for my 24th bday!
I would say that cruising at a very young age I wasn’t able to remember much but once I got older I cruised to the same places so that I could remake those memories! Carnival is amazing!

Also, how much were those tests again? Have Mardi Gras on lock in '22 and thought about just going to CVS or Walgreens to do another COVID test. Did that vax thing😂😂

Best part for me was listening about your one on one with the kids.. We have never been on a Cruise.. but we really want to. Our son is 9.. and we started to travel with him at 7 but then Covid came.. but we have a lot of things we want to do with him.. Just need the USA/Canada border to open for us Canadians. We will try Alaska as our first when we can leave from Vancouver.. Disney is or goal.. Thank you for sharing your experience.

It is a challenge with kids to travel, we made many travel vacations with our 5 kids...driving, flying and train. Never a cruise, we didnt do that until alter in life. But yes, your girls are so lucky to be going on a ship, they are really good girls, Enjoy !!! Take lots of pictures.
