I think everyone on the planet would be watching this debate very intensely hoping to God that the damn toaster wins also everyone I think in Russia would be having a WTF about the fact that the fate of humanity is in the hands of a toaster that was probably made in America back there in the 50s especially since I think Russia still has a little bit of that sovietism in it but that's just me

A lot of politics IRL is like this. In an American/Western context, the Supreme Commander would represent the leftist and progressive viewpoint (society is unjust and thus should be scrapped altogether), and Toaster would represent the more conservative or mainstream liberal position (make society better, but don't throw out the baby with the bathwater).

I have this movie and it is the most totaliterian movie I have ever seen. The fridge wants to rebel against the machine but the toaster is all like "OBEY THE MASTER!" Disney is fucked up.
This was one of my favorites when I was little.. And now that I am older the refrigerator isn't totally wrong about humans. I mean mankind is cruel and the planet is in jeopardy because of us. No mystery why they would migrate to another planet
