- Join us as we visit Kings Island for our FIRST ever time! Unfortunately some major bucket list roller coasters were closed on the day we visited, but we still tried to make the most of our day! We ride Orion, which is (definitely) a giga, and an incredibly paced GCI - Mystic Timbers! + Many more!

You didn't miss much with Banshee it looks cool but it's a bit tame. All the rides at Kings Island are good but not great. They don't have an elite top shelf coaster imo
I’ve heard mixed opinions on it! Would have been good to see where it sat in my Inverts, but was more sad about Beast :(
@THATSSOMID. yeah Beast was my favourite ride there. Nothing out there quite like it. The clearances (or lack of) are crazy on that thing. Not sure how it's legal lol
Kings Island is my home theme park. And I cannot believe that the Beast, Banshee and Invertigo were ALL closed for the ENTIRE day. I have NEVER had even ONE coaster closed any day I have ever went in the past. I mean, this is NOT a Six Flags park. I am sorry you missed these three rides. The one thing you have to come back for is a night ride on the Beast. There is NOTHING like it in the world. It is completely dark and the speed which is fast during the day seems much, MUCH faster at night. I dare you NOT to scream!!!!!

@@THATSSOMID. Make sure you bring Wade. Since he loves speed on a coaster, a night ride on the Beast in total darkness is a TOTAL adrenaline rush!!! The only other coaster that compares with a night ride on the Beast is a night ride on The Voyage at Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN. They have 3 wood coasters (The Raven, The Legend and The Voyage), a launch wing coaster, Thunderbird (the only launch wing coaster in the world at this time) and a kiddy coaster. They are adding a family Vekoma family boomerang coaster for 2024 called Good Gravy, their 6th coaster. All of their woodies are good and well-maintained, but the Voyage is the fav of coaster enthusiasts because of its intensity!!!
