I don't have a Wii but I think you can get unofficial usb adapters and drivers to make them work. All emulators support their original controllers. I use a real Dualshock 3 for my PS1, PS2 and PS3 emulation.

Is this a simple plug and play into the tv? Like don't need to do anything with a computer? (I don't have a computer). Also do I need a adaptor since I live in the United Kingdom? And where do I get one?
This thing is running android. So if android supports them, you can use any. There are even android apps that can be loaded in the background, one called "xinput" that you can use to help get different controllers working This thing uses many different apps for the different systems, but if you are willing to play around with it, you should be able to get most of them working

@@TehBoaz you're referring to one of the prior videos - 12 TB Gaming Hard Drive Has Every Game Ever NEW UPDATED! -- correct? I've been biding my time on which route I'm going to go. I was reading the comments on that one and they said much of the same things as here regarding giving out any pertinent info. For me, that 96 TB from KrisKool that Drew covered, which included all kinds of current PC games -- I think might be too much and I wouldn't even know where to begin. The other one he covered that was 32 TB from Hyper Arcade Systems, I think I could handle that. What it really comes down to for me is not having any issues that I am going to have to trouble shoot my way around. I haven't even figured out my Raspberry Pi 3B+ all the way yet so if I ran into problems with systems that are far more advanced, I'd be throwing in the towel. I saw people in the comments of both of those videos talking about "issues" with the larger one for the PC games and while I like the idea, it's all about how it runs. If the 32 TB is put together better, I'm sure there's plenty I could get rid of for storage and IF I wanted said modern PC games I could find them somewhere on some "archive". I'm in no rush but I'm certainly looking at those two. Since Drew covers machines like this and the Raspberry Pi 5 just came out I'm sure they would hold me over for another decade just fine. It's just a matter of the storage not failing as there's always going to be machines that can run them nowadays.
Mine just shipped today from China so I should get it next week hopefully period I hope it has all the games on it that I want. I hope controller sinks properly. And then it's truly plug and play and I don't have to Monkey around with figuring out which emulator to use
Most of these boxes are not Android certified and will not update and also will not play netflix at 4k. Also if you buy one you should definitely get yourself a spare hard drive and clone it. They very well may be shipping it with a used hard drive that has a new controller board installed and it would actually show as a zero hour hard drive. As he stated in the video,he heard it making noise
Correct, every seagate drive ive owned has crash and burned, i now avoid these drives at all times. They are cheap for a reason, they dont last but a few years.
Hi and thanks for posting this. O have an important question. Im 60 years old and not that computer savvy. What's the stats on this str8 plug and pkay to your TV. Hoping for a good answer .... Jamie
Hi there. Thx for the information. It looks very promising and exciting. However I did not see any ps3 games in the video bit only on the timeline itself did it mention the ps3. So I am curious to know if it was a typo or does this console have the ps3 emulator ? Thank you
@@Islamicsongs313. Latest console model is going to be 3DS. Does not have 360, Ps3, or Xbox. OG Xbox was fairly demanding and it was only slightly less powerful than a Wii, so I can see why they skipped it. Plus outside of Halo and Halo 2, most of the games can be played elsewhere. Even Unreal Tournament here was on Dreamcast
Yes 2 ways. 1st is saved just as the original console would with a virtual memory card that the system manages itself. Second you can also make your own save States and can save at any exact moment you want.
This support up to PS2 so which higher up Systems are you talking about,it shows Switch and I can definitely tell you I doubt this will run Switch Games well
It may show/have these systems but doesn’t mean the hardware can run these games well. I’ve built custom pcs running batocera, emuelec, retrobat, and some using hyperspin. Most of these little game boxes they put together in China aren’t powerful enough. People are better off getting an older pc with ok graphics card and adding batocera onto it. Then just download all the Roms.
Hi Drew! Great channel. On the newer games - Saturn, PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, etc...do all the games come with their original music? I know in the past on lower quality consoles, the music would be left out to save space. I assume with 4TB, it should come with the music. Thanks!
@@tyronemcbg you seem to be answering people a lot faster than the uploader (although I see him answering a lot here so no hate) so I'm asking you. Does the ps2, Dreamcast or Saturn list have any noticeable drops or flaws? My finger is on the trigger to buy but if those aren't doing well, I'm not interested.
looks cool if you just want to connect to a tv and play the playstation 2 games you missed. Sadly for me, i grew up with ps2 and i only got a few ps3 games left i want to play. I already got a computer that has every game catalogue. This is great if you dont got a computer with a frontend and just need to hookup and play quickly.
No one needs a 4Tb game console, all you got to do is get you a mini PC about 500 GB and put emulators on it! That way you can put the games that you want! But I do love your channel!!
@@tek8537 im guessing it could be spyware or used as a bot slave, which is pretty common with hacked systems. He is right, all these games dont need updates so you should never have to connect to wifi.
As someone mentioned below, a full size PC that’s got the horse power to be able to run every game library would be ideal. However, unless you waste your life away playing video games 24/7, having "every game" is overkill. I think it makes more sense to just "have the capability" to have complete libraries for all systems up through current gen. If I ever buy one of those huge storage devices you've covered I guarantee there is going to be a TON of games that get deleted from 5th gen and beyond for a number of reasons; storage being towards the top of that list. I am also not a fan of the garbage that's been coming out much of the last decade or so, even thought are some golden nuggets here and there. Considering the majority of society doesn't understand what the phrase "front end" or a word like "bios" even mean, something like this is what most people would want and I can't fault them for that. The issue that I continually hear when talking to anyone in daily life is that most of them are unaware of people like Drew that find the gems with no hassle and are worth buying so they just end up getting garbage from Amazon or Alibaba which end up broken and in the garbage. The only reason I'm familiar with any of these terms is due to buying a loaded Raspberry Pi 3b+ back in 2017 but by no means am I an expert as you can't learn this stuff by yourself overnight. The Pi (which I still have and use) was so loaded with doubles I forced myself after work for a month straight cleaning it up, fixing all the spaces_between_words and other nonsense that comes with these downloads. It's just a lot of nonsense that most people don't want to, nor should they have to deal with and I think more people should consider these types of machines and stop worrying about the so called "piracy" issue for games that haven't been sold "new" in retail for decade upon decades at this point. Personally, I think parents who have children should buy machines like this instead of the garbage the "big 3" are putting out and allowing to be put out from 3rd party Developers and that's even before you add in the years of unfinished games which then require internet connection with countless updates. That's ridiculous and insane that any parent would spend the amount of money on games that they do these days, instead of putting their foot down and being parents, telling their kids how it's going to be and they are LUCKY to get something that has tons of games like this (or even something like I have with my Pi 3+) instead of just being a doormat. This was a rant but it's aimed at all the SJWs that think virtue signalling is going to get them anywhere. The point of what I am saying here is that what people like Drew are doing is valuable and COULD potentially save people THOUSANDS of dollars they already can't really afford to splurge. Love what I said or hate it -- it matters not to me, but when these companies are towing the line and throwing it in your faces YOU WILL OWN NOTHING AND BE HAPPY and so many people are still happily slaving themselves to death to give these giant corporations their hard earned money, only to have to do it all over again because they shut down libraries or ridiculous remasters or remakes or how about splitting up one RPG into now 3 games; you ALL know what I'm talking about. There has only been one Remake I've seen that's been worth it (RE4R) and even then I'll be damned if I'm going to financially contribute to the agendas being shoved in our faces. As long as they aren't associated with these commu-facist totalitarian agendas, I think the only ones worth supporting are the indie developers. That all being said -- Drew, you're coverage of these is much appreciated. The only thing I would request is maybe a quarterly, biannual and/or a "Best of" list of what you go over throughout the year. I think that would help people who are just discovering your work here to be able to make a choice if they're looking for conveniences like this but other than that brother, keep up the amazing work!

Hi Drew thanks for your videos i just ordered the pro5X and id love to know if i could hook up a PSP guitar to Play guitar hero or usb guitar and id love to see a video from you showing how to convert the controller for gamecube - wii - switch and other consoles that needs it. Explaining step by step every details to do so 😊🇨🇦
Great video and this is exactly what i have been looking for! Dont want to build my own.. has all the games i want to play... who cares if there is double ups... it has EVERYTHING! awesome video you did a great job! Keep up the good work :)
Have fun!
Love the content, Drew!
Soul Calibur II and especially Soul Calibur III are my all time favourite games!😁
Soul Calibur III is AMAZING
Can you imagine microsoft and sony sold these as expansions for your series and ps5s
Honestly? I would buy it just for the Sega Saturn library.
Saturn runs flawless on it. With the increased resolution, it looks great.
Lol are you serious? Out of all those games?
I just received tgis after watching ur video. Can you help explain to me why the controller doesn’t work when trying to play gamecube or ps2 games?!
FOR RETRO ARCH, USE THE ANDROID SETTING, ITS IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. HOLD DOWN THE HOME BUTTON AND A, AND FOR PS2 AND GAMECUBE USE THW 360 SETTINGS, HOLD DOWN HOME AND THE A BUTTONS. THE CONTROLLER LIGHTS WILL CHANGE COLORS.
I have still been unable to play GameCube games in mine. PS2 worked fine with control configuration.
Did you find issues with GameCube games? None of mine work, and using standalone emulator doesn’t help either. Also couldn’t sign into Google Play-store to update anything, just kicked me back to the home screen.
Same issue I am having! Just got mine yesterday 😢
How many double games are there?
A few , but not to bad the things I’m running into are controller basically has 3 modes not 2 this is used to get ps2 games to work , GameCube games are hit and miss if they work even with dolphin emulation
Just got one of these online , very excited!
can you easily pull roms from this console
Thank you for providing the code and review for this system. I got mine this week and my favorite PS2 games are working good at 2.50x resolution. Is it possible you can help with instructions on how to add games to the hard drive?
Does it contain the same core java folder and malware like most android set boxes have?
Yea
What will it do? The malware.

You bet!
How do you play the Wii games since they have their own wireless controllers?...I can't see sitting down for Wii games as the fun ones require movement around the area.
And a sensor bar.
I don't have a Wii but I think you can get unofficial usb adapters and drivers to make them work. All emulators support their original controllers. I use a real Dualshock 3 for my PS1, PS2 and PS3 emulation.
I bought a dolphin bar and a used wii remote with nunchuck. Works good with dolphin
They play fine but you need to go into Wii settings and go wireless game controller mode (dolphin emulator)
I just ordered it all because I saw the star wars revenge of the Sith game I have been wanting to play for so long again. Unfortunately the ps5 doesn't have it.
Just got the X5 pro but game cube and Wii games won’t open. Can anyone offer some suggestions on how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance
check the dolphin emulator, should be on the main apps screen

How do you start playing PS2, GameCube and Wii games with the controller?

this one is pricier but i have personally used it many times: amzn.to/3vQnGj0
@drewtalks so this case will work with this unit? You have tried it? The sata cord plugs into the case?
Thanks for the vid, quick question, is the hard drive not enclosed within the console? Did you say that I’d have to buy a separate enclosure?
It's literally plug n play?
Not that it matters for me, since i own a PS2 with all three Sly Cooper games, but why would they put Sly 1 and Sly 3 in this, but not Sly 2?

I saw this for under 200 on AliExpress, for this price it’s not to bad.
a lot of people are selling the computer only not paired with the 4tb hard drive, make sure you check what is included!
Does this thing come with the hard drive and controller or are they both sold separately Thanx
Together my man!
My only question is...I have a bunch of USB controllers (N64, GameCube, etc) will they work on this?
This thing is running android. So if android supports them, you can use any. There are even android apps that can be loaded in the background, one called "xinput" that you can use to help get different controllers working
This thing uses many different apps for the different systems, but if you are willing to play around with it, you should be able to get most of them working
Stock PS2 collection here is 99% perfect…just seems to be missing Killzone…no biggy tho.
Bully is another odd one to leave out
How well is the controller configured to play games from separate consoles? Ie gamesir is like playstation, how is it configured for gamecube, etc.
I bought the $300 12TB one and STILL had to add 2 games that it didn't have. 102,000 games but it didn't have NHL Hitz 2002 or Punch-Out (Wii Version).
Does that 12tb have the PS2 library that this one has?
@@ryankonishi1547 yeah it's massive. 640 PS2 games, 1788 PS1, pretty much full catalogs for most systems. Worth the money to me.

He reviewed the one in the link it comes with the 4tb HDD so if you bought the 12 TB one it has way more than that
Mine just shipped today from China so I should get it next week hopefully period I hope it has all the games on it that I want.
I wouldn't want to put any sign in details to one of these type of boxes
Correct, every seagate drive ive owned has crash and burned, i now avoid these drives at all times. They are cheap for a reason, they dont last but a few years.
Imagine being concerned about this box running Netflix when it definitely has literally thousands of unlicensed games 💀💀 the irony is palpable
Who the hell would buy this for Netflix? What the hell.

Hi there.
Thx for the information. It looks very promising and exciting.
However I did not see any ps3 games in the video bit only on the timeline itself did it mention the ps3.
So I am curious to know if it was a typo or does this console have the ps3 emulator ? Thank you
I was told no it does not run ps3

@@Islamicsongs313. Latest console model is going to be 3DS. Does not have 360, Ps3, or Xbox. OG Xbox was fairly demanding and it was only slightly less powerful than a Wii, so I can see why they skipped it. Plus outside of Halo and Halo 2, most of the games can be played elsewhere. Even Unreal Tournament here was on Dreamcast
Wow, no Def Jam Vendetta or any WWF Smackdown games? I'll pass
You can upload them. If you really want it and use the GUI to access the games you like.
Can you save your progress on the games?
Yes 2 ways. 1st is saved just as the original console would with a virtual memory card that the system manages itself. Second you can also make your own save States and can save at any exact moment you want.
Saw someone online saying the performance was not great for the higher end systems
Thanks!
Yes. They are the full roms.

@@tek8537 these Android boxes are loaded with questionable apps from China. Could easily have malware on them. Using without Internet would be fine.
Can those side bars be removed to show a full screen aspect during games ?
If that was a rant it was the most educated spot on rants I have ever heard. Cheers and you are intelegent .
The games list doesn't work right for me was wanting to see if they had yugioh duelist of the roses for ps2 on it
