@@BradMagnarellaAuthor I also enjoy this style. Very easy to listen to and find my husband listening even though he doesn’t read for enjoyment. And of course not audiobooks. I like that l’m seeing him enjoy listening. Thank you for these. ✨🍃🌼🍃✨
LOVE THIS AUTHORS WORKS!!! ALL of them. Prof. Croft is awesome, funny, gets in some SCARY situations and back out again. Saving the world one, two or 100 demons at a time!!! AND teaches Mythology on the side!!
Loved this prequel. So great to see how Crofy and Tabitha got together. Totally enjoying the Prof Croft books and anxiously awaiting the next installment.
I have to say you are an excellent writer. The characters are really well drawn and developed, you feel like you really know them and care about them. Throughly enjoyed this.
Very interesting audio book! Wish you had put forth more effort in between his training, and the demon he acquired that would have made a grand book as well. Thanks for sharing!!
Great audiobook and narrator. Only complaint it should be an 8-14 hour audiobook. With interesting plots and drama I can see having a 50 book series. I can estimate this for this series future.
Dear Mr. Magnarella and Mr. Cronin. You've got me. Audible app downloaded, premium membership ordered, your books are the first in my library. And, you know, I'm extremelly picky and easilly bored listener, but the story and Mr. Cronin's narration are great. I'm going to live my second life in the streets of NYC for next few days. Thank you.
@@BradMagnarellaAuthor Thank you very much one and I didn’t listen to them in order but I understand it. I appreciate your help. I’m so excited to finish the last one and I do love Tabatha and the voice of that cat gives me the chills. I think it’s great. thank you for sharing and form that I can afford. I don’t belong to any of these book clubs, but I love being able to get them off RUclips and I share them with my macular degenerative clients who are very upset about not being able to read. I open up their eyes and ears instead to audiobooks more entertaining and interesting the better they start enjoying life again, so I really appreciate you putting this series out there so I can share it with my clients and price that I don’t have to worry about. I wanna give you a big shout out of a thank you really appreciate your hard work and talent and I look forward to seeing more/hearing more books
Thank you for this - I had not realised it was available in Audible until I checked just now. Do I buy it or just enjoy this one as a freebie ( I own every other one via Audible including Book of Souls)?
@@BradMagnarellaAuthor cool. I just started reading the series and I am really enjoying it. I am interested to see how a succubus will handle being inside of a cat.
A wild ride with a lot of laughs. The behaviour of the creatures described in this novel is purely the author's invention. No vampire would be could dead pimping "girls" like that. That's what thralls are for dude. As for a succubus attacking croft.. no way in hell. Professional curtesy , would stop her from poaching. He harbours a family member after all.
I was really liking the series, BUT too bad you thini it's cool to sprinkle in the F-WORDS!! There are many people you are now alienating your writing from. It would be just as good without them.
Adult urban fantasy is definitely an R-rated genre that leans toward X in some cases. I stick to the lighter side of R myself, and some of my characters do swear. Their version of New York is gritty. It gets to them after awhile. The cat swears too, but that's just Tabby. She's a work in progress. Probably hopeless, but we're not giving up on her just yet.
As a "Slice of life" writer, I can appreciate the use of "Colorful Metaphors" This is a wonderfully compelling series. I can see the parallels to the Dressing Chronicles. Look forward to collecting the entire series! Thank you for posting these two volumes here.
In romania fac (sounds like the American F Word) is used constantly as it means I do... Shortly after moving to the states, went to pick up my daughter from daycare. The very upset director informed me that foul language is not allowed in her establishment and I should wash my 3 years old daughter's mouth with soap. Took me a few minutes to make sense of it all . Apparently she wanted to go to the bathroom saying "fac pe mine" ( used expression for = I have to pee). The director's attitude changed as we figured out why my poor child kept repeating the f word until she was allowed to go to the bathroom. Shared this story only to inoculate those allergic to the F word. A vaccine if you please with absolutely no side effects... 😅
This reminds me of early Dresden... highest praise I can give
Wow, thanks for listening! Dresden and Constantine are big influences (devoured Hellblazer back in the day). Also, 1970s New York City.
@@BradMagnarellaAuthor yes I love 70's new York so sleazy but vibrant and alive 👍
