In this video I reviewed the new Shea moisture gel which I actually really enjoyed because it was very defining. But unfortunately this gel did not work on my hair for a wash and go. I used not a leave in to avoid flaking and as you see it was very defining and went on smoothly and looked really good.
So I have to think quick and save my hair because I had to be at work in the morning, so I had like 4 different hairstyles all in one week
Here’s a break down:
Half up half down on -Monday
Two buns and half down -Tuesday & Wednesday
High puff and twist on the side -Thursday
High puff and curls hanging down - Friday & Saturday

I love that RUclips continues to show me curls like my own.. Subbing just off that alone.. 🤗 Have you ever used this sort of botanical gel as a base gel instead of a leave in and then top it with a firmer hold gel..?? Or adding your base gel while still in the shower direct after rinsing out conditioner..?? That has become my go to regimen and has saved me time by keeping my wash and go in tact from 1 wash day to the next.. I wash every 4-5days.. So a couple times a week.. But get to literally shake and go the days between washes.. And my wash, style, and dry takes me about 1.5hrs tops..
No I have not but today I just tried a twist out with the gel so ima see how it turns out

Had the same issue it flakes over uncle funkys too. I used the curl enhancing smoothie under it and it was shiny and bouncy. I tried hard to use more water and less product than I’d normally use!
I will have to try it with the curl smoothie
@@alexandriarena for some weird reason I gotta use the curl smoothie on wet hair! Or cocktail it with the gel in your hand and put it on wet hair. Loved the video!
lol dont use a leave in thats what doesnt mix with the gel , use shea moisture curling cream , then apply the styling gel , it will not flake or crunch
Just use motor oil!
