You can see the difference between a professional and not so professional rally team ( driver and navigator) on how they tackle that tricky and surprising part of the course. Notes matter!

Notes and proper preparation matter in more than just rally.
@@georgeseaton67 depends. no practice runs ever, sometimes they get to drive the course in a normal car to take notes, sometimes they get sent a video of someone else driving it slowly.

@@hannes0000 actually it's the driver who tells the co-driver what to write on the pacenotes during a recce. The driver needs to make a good and precise pacenotes especially for tricky part of the stage.

That jump onto the tarmac certainly claimed many victims...
I noticed the front wheel peelers had the most problems there.
I was thinking because of the way they approached the corner(the same side as the turn) and the way they entered it(not noting the cut, which all of the more experienced WRC drivers did not neglect)
The WRC drivers took a hard turn while the opels just seemed to go straight forward flying towards the grass... Maybe because they're rookies? The awd systems? Who knows! I'd like to try this in Dirt 4
@@mcdodong303 you can also see how the WRC drivers had the steering angle adjusted for the landing mid air while the ones who crashed didn't

Awesome from the spectators! Never leave a competitor stuck in their car and if possible, recover the car and get them going again. Rule 2 of spectating! Alwaysremember rule 1 though, saftey!

It's because of experience..
If you're talking about how these heavily winged modern WRC cars areactually surviving that spot where they turn a sharp left into a jump, it's not all "aero" mind you. they simply breezed through the section because: 1. they approach the corner from away the apex and 2. They never forgot to note the cut into the corner. This is is a good corner where you can tell apart the pros from the amateurs.

I HAZ NO KEYBURRRRD top three for me would be the 2018 Fiesta WRC, the Hyundai I30N WRC, and the Toyota Yaris WRC cars

The route of the co-driver in the 2:25 turn is exactly what happens in the WRC game, in this case he says left 4 for example but need to be a left 2, 1 or even a Hp indicator meaning that you need to brake for real
