@@TwinHomeExpertsya ,cause ya know majority of inspectors aren’t getting under there let alone look for possible water /drainage issues . But on top of that whether it be unknown , lazy, or incapable just think what else they’re missing or skipping. Sometimes people want to hurry and move in/out , but as a homeowner I want most thorough job walkthrough possible and at least noted so they can fix or myself so down the road if missed I’m Not shelling out extra $$$$
Or having major issues dealing with what could’ve been prevented.
@TwinHomeExperts can ya believe that my 72-year old handicapped dad here in Des Moines , Iowa has hired few companies for rodent control he’s heard in attic. But I get to come help (recruited) lol, when there gone or at interval times. But when they come out they look around house and in attic but don’t remove dead mice on glue traps that they said possible issues . And there’s few pipe’s whether bathroom exhaust or pvc that I say “may need sealed Off if from previous and not in use “. And of course my dad says “they did” . Which I ask “how do you know?” He says “ Cause they told me they did “. And I tell em “ they couldn’t or wouldn’t have lied to ya huh?”
But I asked em “ if ya had pest control here and around house and attic , why didn’t they remove dead mouse from attic?” He said “ they said they wouldn’t. Which is irony to me since being up there anyways but just one of many , many ways of laziness nowadays but still billing ya way over …. Asinine🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️✌🏽

Water soaks into the soil not evaporating. Evaporation is water heating and dispersing in the atmosphere. Apart from that…love your videos!

Best video! Tremendous job of inspection and identification of the sources of water penetration. Must consider demolishing both homes and rebuilding. Repair fail liability would be excessive. This is a homeowners worst nightmare.

Hey sir you inspire me to do this kind of job or start my own business. Am in central California.
we took ages to figure out the water ingress under our house was because the neighbor had a missing downpipe, the water goes into our property and under our house. I asked him to fix it for months and ended up having to put a sump pump under the house to help, and also dig a drain between our houses to take away some of the water. I used plenty of drainage under the house to take the water to the pump and its very dry under there nowadays. Still wish the neighbor would fix their downpipe though.

My friend has a mice issue and in the past week she's caught a few. Her cat came out with one in his mouth. Im pretty sure there is sn infestation. I learned so much from you guys. Im going to attempt to help her find the entry points. We dont know what kind of safe traps to use because she has 5 animals. ?

Firstly turn off all taps and look at water meter if it’s moving you have a leak.
Then rain, or runoff.

Yes. Because it can get worse. Inspect to see what type of rodent droppings you have and see how many. This will be a good indicator.

A better Leak Dance idea ... improvise the effect of consuming a lot of water but not finding any bathroom to use.
instead of the Rat-dance you could do the Wet-dance :)

Great question. This method is great to use when going through thick substrates. When you have access not needed.
That house is a nightmare the owner definitely should sue.
Why is the video so short I miss the 30 minute episodes
We don’t script or plan these jobs out, we just show up and try to be as authentic and educational as possible, so some jobs are not always going to be 30 minutes. We do understand that 20 minute videos and longer do better. Appreciate this amazing feedback.

I know you guys do such things for a living, I know that. But a sudden closeup of a spider may cause some people to get a slight panic attack. Not everyone can deal with that. So maybe not do this without a warning.

Considering that the twins are exterminators and will likely encounter many types of household pests and insects, it would stand to reason that anyone with a phobia of those pests shouldn’t be watching their videos.

@@jaycole1900 I am. It's always easy to say that if you don't have that phobia. "men up" "cant be serious" and such... You would understand, if you would feel the same. But just to be clear, some people feel very scared of spiders, snakes, or rats because they can spread viruses. The human race has an inbuilt genetic fear of those animals due to the simple fact that numerous people have died due to pests, venom, etc. It's a build in irrational fear you can't control nor get used to. This is not whining around..
@@eyeknowzz I don't have a problem with any other animal on earth except spiders. This fear is in my DNA, something beyond my control. And this phobia is widespread. By showing close-ups of a spider that many people have a phobia of, it seems like an uninformed choice that does not need to be made. I feel justified in expressing my discomfort with this fear, and that there's no need to play with many people deep phobia. Who are you to tell me to stop watching the videos? I'm confident that if you shared the same fear, you would understand. However, if you don't have the phobia yourself, I doubt you really understand what it feels like.
