10:23 *Mack Launch. The only 2 Mack Mega coasters are Alpina Blitz @ Nigloland and Storm @ Etnaland. Icon, Blue Fire, Star Trek, Copperhead Strike, Manta @ Sea World San Diego and Capitol Bullet Train and Helix are all Mack Launch coasters. Icon is also technically not classified as a Mega Coaster because it is not between 100 - 199ft. Just a quick bit of information :)

I'm so excited to ride ICON and visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the first time very soon! I'm planning on visiting the park for the first time in September or October. Im going to try and make ICON my 50th credit, so ill have to ride 4 other coasters first. Hopefully i don't get to much of a headache from the other coasters. (Looking at you, Infusion xD)
That second POV looked definitely faster than the first. I'm also starting to like the first section more as it's closer to the ground and must feel really fast.

Shawn would you agree,? we are very lucky to live in the UK. When you think about it we have more rollercosters into a small area than anywhere in the world. And have more rollercosters than most countries in the world!

I am pretty sure Japanese women did not wear such skimpy kimonos back in Fuduel Japan. Not complaining mind you. Icon looks a fantastic addition to the UK and brilliant coupe for Blackpool. Kinda makes me think it has one the battle of the 2018 UK coasters. I mean Wicker Man is a family ride. However I just think thrillseekers will prefer Icon.

But also Toverland opens a whole new entrance area plus a Mack boat ride called Merlins Quest. Entrance area called ' Port Laguna.' Fēnix coaster and Merlins Quest area called Avalon. In Avalon you'll found Macks boat ride called Merlins Quest and wing coaster Fēnix. ( with darkride part even as Fēnix they share the same darkride) So please visit and review this park, with extreme details at the entrance area and Avalon Area. It is not a hard copy of Flug der Dämonen, Heidepark but better it is the modern version. But not comparable with each other. The one thing that gets me about this ride is how messy the surrounding environment looks,all the rides are just far too close to each other which means you can never have good individual theming. We are visiting Blackpool/the pleasure beach for the very first time in 2 weeks time and whilst i think the rides might be a nice change,i cant help think that the experience wont feel the same as it does when visiting the likes of Alton towers. I hope the rides are worth the drive as its going to take us over 4 hours 30 minutes to get there.
Christopher Kenny - I understand that its not a theme park but they still try and add theming but it still doesn’t distract from all the other rides that are practically on top of it.Ive been to other such places and they dont look as crammed in as the rides do at Blackpool pleasure beach.
BPB isn't half the size of the likes of Alton towers and Thorpe/Chessington. There's only so much space to put in new attractions. Its a park with a large selection of rides - more so than those mentioned above - so they have to be clever with the location. And surely, rides being so close together means that you get lots of interesting shots and can wave at your friends on the other rides. Have some fun!

DatMarsu They were originally all called Mack Mega Coasters. Which is why Blue Fire is called in full: Blue Fire Mega Coaster. Mack has only in the past two years referred to their launch coasters as a separate model in their catalogue.
Nemesis is 23 years older than Icon... and its 2 miles per hour slower WITHOUT the assist of any launches. You can not compare Nemesis to Icon, two completely different roller coasters.

halcyondaystunes It's really worth it. I travelled from London, rode Icon 3 times, it's fab!
as the hours go, the friction becomes more lower, so you’ll get faster ride every hour or so

Yup, mack rides is definitely my favorite coaster manufacture. Helix takes the number one for me. I got quite luck that live in Sweden :)
