Eunoia I agree. They never made it out to be a romance in any of the trailers, or in any advertising. It was purely a fan-made idea. Not saying that’s a bad thing (it isn’t) but never did the creators hint that Merlin or Arthur was queer in any way.

This is probably one of the only places I could talk about this without getting yelled at, cause this film made me genuinely wonder what would happen if a gay romcom was written, and Colin and Bradley were LEGITIMATELY the best actors for the roles, no bias or anything, they are genuinely the best actors for the parts… what would happen?? Like, would they even agree? Would they not give a shit cause they’re actors or be uncomfortable cause of their friendship? Shows all the awkward painful and beautiful sides of being human and how it's ok to open up to the possibilities of life and love because everyone is a little bit strange and struggles with their own shit and that's ok. It's ok to be awkward, it's ok to hurt, it's ok to love and be loved.
