You know what's funny, i predicted all this as soon as Saban retired. I keep saying it, only Georgia for the moment is the only team that Miami has to worry about as far as getting the best recruits. Miami no matter what, is still more attractive to play for than all SEC teams except Georgia ( for the time being) because Miami is s big draw and it's one of those that half the country loves them and the other half hates them but loves watching them anyway 😅. I think Miami would have no problem joining the SEC but I'm sure the SEC doesn't want Miami for the reasons I just mentioned. Cristobal is a great recruiter so he won't have a problem in the SEC. Of course Miami will need to put everything together for this to happen but it looks good so far.

One thing that was said wrong was that back in the 80's they were able to get all 4 and 5 star recruits .There wasn't one 5 star on the whole team. That was a well coached roster full of 3 stars. They played their way into becoming top notch NFL prospects obviously. But they weren't 5 star kids in high school.
I'm a hurricane fans from way back. What are my relative book of Pickett senior played for the Canes, can you use son Booker Jr. is there right now, also DJ Pickett Jr I coach DJ's father which is Booker Sr. first cousin along with Ryan Pickett at Zephyrhills High School. One thing I know about the Hurricanes how old is that they played in front of full stadiums. Could it be that we lose some of the recruits to the SEC and Ohio State based on the size of the home crowd that we play in front of today?
