Love the bourbon definition drama throwback. WHICH, is actually what brought me to your channel. I watched that video by the Tribe and the RUclips algorithm suggested your rebuttal. Been watching since and following soon after. Thanks for the great video and review.
Another great review. Although I may have spent most of it wondering if Into The AM shirts shrink since you said it fits like it did a year ago despite all the lbs you’ve dropped
We’re back to Rex. Long memory. You touch the burner, well, the burner is always on high. Don’t touch the WTWT bourbon rules burner, Rex. Just don’t do it. Back slowly away.
Hey Matt! Great review. 7.0 Just returned from Bardstown Bourbon Co…. A PSA to your clan, they ran out of your ADHD Blend a couple weeks after the release. Their employees couldn’t even buy it as supplies were so low. Supposedly awesome work. Did taste and snag a couple Fercullens tho. Unique nerd whiskey. 🥃
I haven’t tried the younger version yet but absolutely love the UCUF! Pretty excited to see what their rye varieties will be like, assuming I’m able to find a bottle.
Okay guys help me out: I just ran out of Russell's Reserve Single Barrel. It's my favorite, I love the cherry nutty notes. For the same price ($58), is there anything that tastes similar, or should I just buy another bottle of Russell's?
Hey Matt? Where in Colorado do you love? I’m moving to Thornton Colorado from texas in a month! I’ve already looked up all the liquor stores in cvs area! Maybe I’ll see you around there!
Specs case price is 37$ before tax. I have never seen UCUF at a store in Texas. Its literally easier for me to buy Weller 12. I bought my UCUF directly from the distillery website.
i live in vegas, i like smoke wagon. i can go get unc & unf for 60 bucks pretty much anytime. this seems like to high of a price tag. i thought this woould be closer to the normal batch price
Matt. Newbie question. Do these companies like Smoke Wagon that use MGP juice age it themselves in their own barrels? Or is the juice being aged in barrels at MGP?
Some companies buy it already aged and some age it themselves. Smoke wagon ages their own in NV. If they age it they often will say so on the bottle. I’d they don’t say anything on the bottle its probably aged by MGP. But not always. Lol.
Your jab at Rex reminded me - are you prepared to officially disclose your family's financial interests in the lumber industry yet, Matt? Or should I say, Matt McLumberton, heir to the New Oak Barrel fortune?
Pretty sure I have this same batch of Uncut the Younger and it was absolute trash. Tasted like young craft whiskey without the over-oaked astringency from a small barrel.
I thought the same thing about this being young and bright when it was a fresh crack but after a month it's great. I blinded it against wfp, ecbp b522 and Barrell Bourbon 27 and it beat them all fairly handily. I think I got the first batch of this though, so it might differ, the proof is different on the latest one.
Definitely one of the most overrated bourbons I’ve ever tried. I will say that I love that about it, because at every raffle they have a few and people always go for it, which leaves the good stuff for me.

Love the piano music. Always sets me in the mood for Whiskey
Hilarious was recently in a CO liquor store and the decision was a Rare Breed Rye or Smoke Wagon. We chose Smoke Wagon and regretted the decision.
Can confirm, my Into The AM shirt got me laid twice. Was it my fiance? Yes, but still, twice.

I thought this stuff was ok but for an additional $20, the uncut unfiltered is so much better.
I have been waiting for this review. Thank you
Matt reading the label... I'm so glad you left all that in the video.... So funny... 🤣🤣🤣
What Bill Scott said. It opens up into something incredible and in a real short time. Highly rec a revisit in a month.
I had a root canal worked on and was wondering how your doing with your teeth? Good video as always.
Great review! And I’ve lots of water today , so I’m covered. Hey I have some nice SB picks I’d love to send some samples! Let me know how!
It's on shelves here in Houston at $39.99. haven't tried it yet but it's on the list.
Scored for $40 yesterday and I like it! Love the small Batch best though.
Good video Matt, Cheers 🥃

Great review. I had a chance to try this and actually preferred the Straight bourbon or the Small batch over this one. Cheers!
Same here ladies. I much prefer the Small batch and the Straight from Smokewagon to the Younger.

A video about all the laws on bourbon would be great for the beginners out here.

Couple of ice cubes and a swimming pool in the hot AZ desert sun makes this bourbon taste much better. Your spot on with your viewpoint good sir!
All the stores around me mark up anything from Smoke Wagon. Meanwhile we're awash in 6 and 7yr Old Scout picks... Guess which ones I'm buying lol.
Being in Vegas I do prefer the uncut unfiltered smoke wagon, though I wouldn't complain if I got poured any of them.

DaveCo and Argonauts are gonna be your best friends along with Highlands WineSeller
@@Rob_Werzner nice! I’ve heard great things about argonauts
Has anyone seen Smoke Wagon in Florida? I’ve been searching around for months
Weed whack your vinyl siding. 😂

My local store sells this for $35.
So…..you’re not leaving Colorado?

Smoke wagon ages about 6months in Nevada. Sometimes far less and very few over a year.
Most of their barrels are aged 4 years at MGP.
Got mine for around $40 which is a good price point for it. Anything more isn't worth it.
It’s not for me since I live in Florida and it’s not sold here

Hmmm. Is "The Younger" good marketing for bourbon, idk...

You clearly have a preference for younger whiskey.
@@coreysstillbarking Nah my favorite bottle is a Parker's 27 yo
