1:35:55 - All I can think of is Tom Brier and Vincent Johnson improvising in their pianos at WCRF at least one decade ago!
Thank you so much Adam for all you do for the ragtime community and for the music lovers all around the globe!
Cheers
The Vamp was also used in the dance sequence of the movie "Cheaper By the Dozen" with Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy. Did the neighbor finish chainsawing the tree and does he ever "comment" on you banging away on the piano if the window happens to be open? Ha Ha. Another great concert as usual. Thank you so much!
maybe sometime you could take a couple of minutes and tell us a little bit about yourself and how you came to love to study the piano and play these pieces...it looks like many of them you do from memory or by site reading--which is amazing in itself...you have an amazing capacity and repertoire--you seem to have a sort of genius for being able to pick up songs from site and playing for long periods of time (that is a physical workout, as well as a mental one)...would love to hear some of your history as to how you reached this broad capacity to absorb music...were your parents musicians? maybe it is in the genes? dts/usa
You're the best, Adam! Can you please recommend any other good ragtime RUclipsrs?
Everyone once in awhile the RUclips algorithm gives me an amazing video. This is one for sure. Do you stream on any other platforms like Twitch?
