I’m from the old school way 😂 but I could never get an understanding on how this new way of wording my resume could work with me and as a result I’ve been stuck in my current position which I hate far beyond what I would’ve preferred. Thank you for that informative video. How do you show value in percentages as a customer service representative. For example I know that sales increased when I was working for a particular company because of my rapport with the customers. However I can’t just invent a random or fake number to reflect the increase in sales. Do you have any bullet point suggestions to show my work as a customer service representative for increasing sales?Thank you so much for your help. Keep up the great work ❤
Heyyy 👋🏾 Is there a specific reason you want to focus on sales? I ask because, to your point, it’s going to be nearly impossible to accurately quantify something where you don’t have direct access to any of the corresponding data. If you were involved in any upselling or cross-selling, you should definitely highlight that! Otherwise, if you’re wanting bullet points that also symbolize $$$, I’d recommend focusing on retention strategies (ways you helped reduce churn), first contact resolution (ways you reduced operational costs by minimizing repeat contact), customer satisfaction (ways you contributed to customers buying more with your company by keeping them happy). Hope this helps!

I edited my resume and changed it from chronological format to functional. Recruiters say they’re not effective. Are there any employment situations that it might help? Also would it be possible to forward you a copy of my resume to critique once I’ve finished it? I know a lot of your subscribers probably ask you for this!
