Michael. Today’s battery casings are made of plastic, eliminating the intake of moisture, and making the garage floor a great place to put your car battery. Cement and concrete floors provide a fairly good barrier between the car battery and extreme temperature changes that could otherwise cause damage to the battery cells. Just don’t let it sit unused too long.

Best video I watched this morning as I try to charge my battery. Single mom so this was extremely helpful

Plug battery charger to wall, connect to battery, once battery is charged, disconnect from battery, disconnect charger from wall

Do you have to take it out of the vehicle to charge?

I can't remember the entire instructions in the manual; but it does sound familiar that for safety reasons, the battery should be unconnected from the car. I would say it is better to remove the battery out of the car, that way you're not dealing with additional factors that may get in the way of the natural working process of the tool, in this case, the battery charger charging the battery. Good luck. Thanks for the comment

Shouldn't have to. What I normally do is just disconnect battery and hook the charger up till it's charged. I sit the charger somewhere on the plastic cover above grill and hook it up and charge. This shouldn't be any different. It's not gonna explode or anything. I never had issues with chargers. To me it's an over exaggeration on the company's part. Batteries can explode, but to me it's a rare thing to happen like if the chargers faulty and doesn't kick off. I wouldn't worry about it. From what I seen in reviews etc this is a great charger. Just like cooking on a stove just keep an eye on what your doing. Good luck!
