Growing up, my family situation was never great. My parents fought a lot and ended up divorcing when I was 12. Both of them were happier, but I started bouncing between houses three times a week. There was always a lot going on, and both of my parents would spend as much time as possible cursing the other one out on the ride to their house. I was miserable. I wanted to love them both, but there was no way to say that diplomatically to either of them without getting in trouble for . I wouldn't realize how much I would resent both of my parents because of that until I finally got my first car when I was 16, and they both let me drive myself everywhere. I would go for a drive after school everyday, exploring every street and view I could in our city. I loved driving so much because I was finally in control of something in my life, and I could escape when I felt overwhelmed. That happened a lot, and I would drive to decompress. I had a regular rotation of rock and really angry music, until I found Vaporwave. Saint Pepsi and Flamingosis were my main squeezes until I heard this song. I wasn't decompressing and screaming in my car anymore, I was actually starting to relax. I know it sounds really corny, but this music changed my life. I'm a couple years older now, and I drive fulltime for my job. This song just came back to me on my feed. I'm no longer the angry kid I was in my teens, but this song still does something to me. I'll be spending the rest of my day today cruising around and jamming to this song. Thank you for reuploading this

21st birthday, checked myself out a room on the 36th floor at an expensive hotel in the city. Just myself, splurging and what have you. Due to lockdowns just ending, the hotel had no amentities and most things were closed, but the room had a smart TV, so I logged into my youtube on it. This was the first song to pop up. Spent the night sitting on the gigantic window sill staring out at the city listening to vaporwave. That's how I remember my 21st birthday.
