Surprised not to hear mention of the Galleon TAG variant. Those things are so common in Battletech: Restoration spotting for LRM lances that I thought they’d be in TRO3058.
The fact that they didn't even change the name from Crusher Joe amazes me. How did this thing not wind up as vanished as the Unseen mechs did? Was Harmony Gold somehow not involved in this particular license?
I am an avid BT fan and love your videos. Have even pointed typos in the literature that you read verbatim. Knowing you probably also knew it was an error. Every new Lorewarrior gets a thumbs up for me. Well... except the one you released recently that was the zenith of the one problem I've seen. You let your feelings of WoB, shade your attempts at having an overall dispassionate view while recounting the TRO entries. BT has a faction for everybody, and if one cares that much about their chosen House or other power, yada, yada, etc.. I, personally, couldn't care less about the Toaster Humpers. They were just what drove the story line from @3065-82. Just like ppl used to complain in the rec.games.mecha board about their favorite characters in the books "taking the stupid pills", it shouldn't be too hard to understand that to keep the "World" vibrant; shit needs to happen, actions need consequences , and people need to make mistakes to proceed to the consequences/action part of the novel/tabletop campaign. Point being, WoBbies helped push military tech and manufacture to new heights, so any warfighting anything not by Blakists is still gonna be influenced by the 2-4 levels of separation from Blake. TLDR: WoB was just another faction that had its' time in the sun, and a neutral (you are trying to reflect an unbiased view, right?) party would hold their nose, state the specs, describe the capabilities, deployment, and special pilots/crew. If one felt particularly vehement in their dislike, sure, hold on to it for your Out Of Universe part of the video. That's just the way I feel. You had been making these vids in a similar fashion since I started watching them, and up til recently, I found them perfect. Now- just when you get that vocal coloring regarding Word of Blake, it throws me out of the suspending disbelief mentality. /end mini-novel. P.S. I do appreciate the effort you put in. Thank you, ave

Hello CR. Don't deride the Galleon too much. Placed well on the map, groups of them can easily ambush lances of Mechs moving along the maps. I did this occasionally. Hiding Galleons in heavy woods and waiting for the opponent to move his Mechs through the 'valley' of trees. When they had moved sufficiently, the Galleons sprinted out and devastated their rear armor, forcing the unit to fall back off the map and ceding me the victory. Yes, I 'lost' a few tanks... but his Mechs were not available (being under repair), for the main battle with my own units, and thus counted (in my estimation) as a 'win'.
10:03 no no no no no, name it what Mr McCracken would name it if he was doing the video: The Galleon II. Thank you thank you I'm here all week, be sure to tip your waitress 😀😃😄😎.

Apparently not, but it wouldn't be a surprise to find that variant mentioned in a different sourcebook set in the same time period.
You are my favorite battletech loremaster. Thank you.

No harmony, The Crushers/Cruther Joe's owners never actaully objected.
This thing was in MechAssault Alot.

The new 106 variants from the IlClan Recognition Guide look pretty good. The loadouts should be up on Sarna.
They will be but this was from the 3058 TRO's. I will get to the ilclan recognition guides one day as well.
