I don't care what people say, y'all are good. People just gotta understand pessimism doesn't get you good players, thus why y'all are usually pretty optimistic (side not Stott haters are in shambles rn)
I knew there was something up with him. Nothing else other than bad adjustments could explain the drop off at the plate. Sore elbow will definitely slow your bat down. Let's revisit the Stott to SS idea in like 3 years.
Stott has a great glove..but he like many other Phils hitters need adjustments/new approach at the plate..no excuse why this guy shouldnt be hitting .280 or better.
It all starts with Kevin Long. Under him, the players are either hitting home runs or they’re striking out. There is no in between. If the Phillies plan to run it back (….again), then they absolutely need to fire Kevin Long.
It HAD to be either an arm or core issue and completely explains his decrease in bat speed. His game altering ABs were maybe there 5% of the time they were there the last few years. Get it cleaned out and scoped.
Stott, Bohm, Turner should all be OBP hitters to complement Schwarber, Harper, and Casty. That said, the whole line-up needs to cut back on the strikeouts.
It wasn't hard to see that there was something "wrong" with Stott last year he just wasn't "right" and wasn't "himself" dude must've been dealing with some kind of injury to have that kind of deep dip in production
Turner can’t play short stop another year. Move him to second. Harper going to first base cost a player. Stick his ass back in right or trade him. Always hurt. Not a game changer no more. Turner not worth his contract either
Bohm is just an average player with a horrible attitude. Casty is not that dude and it’s crazy we play him everyday. To streaky. This team is now old and no wants whom we offer in a trade. Dumbrowski needs to go. He’s stuck in 2010.
I just don't know I why their picking apart the Phillies, I think over all they do well, First, Bohm, then Costello, now Stott, Marsh, their all favorites of my and you can see they are doing their best, things happen, you can replace the so called bad players, but what you get could be worse!!! Just really disgusted with all the negative things being said about this team, move on, training will be here before you know it!!! Get to work on the great team you have and build on it!!!

I think Stott and Turner will have better seasons in 25! "Go Phillies"
WHY ARE WE JUST FINDING OUT THAT STOTT WAS INJURED?...SMH

@@PatRyan-c7z he'll be a free agent in 3 years and I doubt they'd sign him back long-term because of Starly Caba
@JanksBaseball2428 I get that, that's why I said it. Lol. My bad, sarcasm didn't translate. Trea will go to 2b and Caba will be at SS.

He certainly showed up in the Mets series unlike some other huge contracts that laid an egg
After the rules change, I thought Trea would bump up to 50+ SB's, but that hasn't happened. I guess he needs to be/get healthy as well.

He was also a first time father.

Honestly why even cover the Phillies when they aren't trying to win and they know that their roster isn't good enough to win the World Series

Does everyone forget tgat turner missed 6 weeks? Of course his numbers were down.
@jmiogo He's gotta get his defensive issues in check though. That's been a constant since he got here.

Why not get it taken care of? Ya hurt the team playing hurt.
