3 years later Guy Pratt on bass would be replacing Waters on bass in Pink Floyd! David Gilmour did a great choice

Sounds -again - like a Bryan Ferry song. Who came up with that phrasing? Ferry or Ice House? One of the two must be copying.
There's definitely a bit of Bryan Ferry influence on the Sidewalk album.

I agree , they never got the accolades that they deserved in my opinion , I’ve seen Icehouse 9 times , and they still sound bloody awesome .
Live at the Ritz New York is so good, there was a you tube out with the whole concert but i cant find it anymore . A couple or few years after this concert .

This was in Dortmund. I used to have the WHOLE concert on VHS. They had a simulcast on Australian TV. It might have been on SBS (maybe even called Network 028 back then!) This was probably, one of their GREATEST EVER concerts. Joe Camelleri gave them even more class.
So many fantastic songs by Icehouse it’s hard to choose which are the best. This is my favorite song by them all time.
