    Keith is just like every other dad 🤣 the tour guide literally fed him all the information on the safari tour but to make himself look knowledgeable he had to say it to the camera himself LOL

    Reasonably positive that this was a decade worth of nature, conservation, biology, geography, tree planting and a little culture that could never be taught in any public school in Texas, all wrapped in a two day safari. These are very lucky teenagers.

    Founders Lodge and the safari trip feels like several scenes from the film "Hatari!" starring John Wayne and Elsa Martinelli (aka, "Mama Timbo" leading Henry Mancini's 'Baby Elephant Walk'. Nice to see the care given to the rhinos. Well done, Renee, Z-Crew.

    It is amazing to experience these animals in their natural habitat. It never grows old. I was lucky to entcouter a number of such animals on the game drives I took while visiting South Africa. Enjoy and stay safe. Grts from the Netherlands.

    A real treat to see those animals, but also to see a successful restoration of the natural landscape. There are now several anti-desertification projects going on and this is the first one I've seen with indigenous animals.

    Amazing! My parents in law got married out in the Maasai Mara a good few years back now. We did a week at a resort on the coast in Mombasa, a week out on safari at the Maasai Mara and then back to the resort for another week. It was hands down the best experience of my life. We were lucky enough to see the Big 5 on our first safari, too. I would go back in a heartbeat.

    As a South African, I was moved to tears when you planted a tree. How about planting a tree in every country you visit.     Glad to see that Renee put her fiasco at customs behind her, then you were only 22 miles from my home, glad that you enjoy my country so far and waylay the perception that we all stay in mud huts and shacks and ride zebras to work after we chased the lions away in the morning

      Actually they are supposed to be afraid, thats their natural instinct. It means the animals are no longer wild, they've become domesticated :(

      That’s because they are drugged and have their tusks cut off. They feed them dog food to lure them to the same spots where they bring the tourists. “Rare sight” lol. M0r0ns

      Tourism, especially safaris, are South Africa's bread and butter. Wildlife here have become habituated to vehicles. Don't ever make the mistake of thinking our wildlife is domesticated because you wouldn't last 3 minutes if you got out that vehicle.

    I truly hope your kids understand the unique upbringing you are giving them. I’m sure a part of them thinks that they are isolated from the “ normal teen stuff “. But I think they’re smart enough to realize that they are seeing the world, cultures, sights, and gaining a perspective that few their age will ever have. I’m sure they will grow up to be very interesting people without prejudice and with a very open mind.
    When they move out and are ready to follow their own paths, I’m available for adoption. Disregard that I’m Keith’s age.

    For someone who grew up in the Eastern Cape and worked in the tourism and conservation industries, I'm absolutely thrilled that you decided to go on safari here. However, I was particularly disturbed when you decided to share the rhino footage of this well known reserve with the whole world on social media. You are most welcome to take photos and video footage of the rhino but if you want to help protect them from poachers, don't share those photos and video online. There are many people who work through the night trying to protect the last of these species.Thank you and enjoy the rest of your time in our wonderful country.

    Wait till you get to Botswana - Elephants everywhere - I recommend Elephant Sands for a night stay - the Elephants, Buffalo and Lions as well will walk right by your Tent at night -20’ away- all wild
