Those look like great roads. My daughter lives in Oceanside and I will have to venture out that way soon. I have read lots of good stuff about the -8R. Thanks for the video.
I got the yellow and black 2024 model! its pretty sweet! Ive rode it like I normally would I have about 500 miles on mine Ive been over that 4500 rpm about 50 times so far
I remember the break-in oil on my GT having a significant amount of metal in it. So did the second. Every oil change after that, aside from the oil being slightly darker, it has been metal free. Is that because of proper break-in? Perhaps. This bike has seen 7-8k RPM. I just don't want to start bouncing it off the limiter just yet ;-) The bike is a load of fun. Coming from a liter bike I thought that I would want for more power but I don't. Its fun enough and the twin provide so much usable power even when limited at 4,500 RPM... I can't wait to get the rest of the range. What I have experienced of it's power band is encouraging.

It's a gorgeous color. And, likewise!

Looks like Old Castle and Lilac... great roads! Thanks for the ride. Do you still have your GT?
You know your roads! The GT is my favorite bike of all time. It isn't going anywhere but it does get a break from time to time ;-)
