This song ... her whole album ... is an explanation to her young son about who and where she is at this point in her life, how and why she chose to divorce his dad. She's hoping maybe when he's a little older he'll listen to this and understand more.
She can pull tears from the hardest of hearts just with her voice! The song to be loved had me bawling before I even heard the words, she's that amazing!
There's few voices that can make me feel like hers does. One is Norah Jones, on her song "Come Away With Me". If I am having a hard day I will definitely listen to that song to get into a good headspace.
Her gorgeous alto is mesmerizing. Listen to Carrie Underwood’s “How great thou art”, live at an awards show. You’ll get the same feels as this song if not even more!
The guy playing piano is her producer, Greg Kurstin. He’s a trained jazz pianist. He’s doing a series of cover tunes for Hanukkah this year (did last year too) with Dave Grohl that are incredible.
You need to watch an audience with Adele it was on ITV in the UK.there were so many famous people in the audience she sang songs and the celeb audience asked her questions.emma Thompson, Idris Elba,Stormzy and Samuel l Jackson were some of the celebs that asked her questions she sang a some old and some new songs.
Betting you will also love Jennifer Nettles singing Stay. It is about her discovery of her ex-husband's deceit and she sings it from the other woman's perspective. Stellar performance!
🙏💕🌌 Great reaction van, I was having a rough morning and saw this video and clicked right away because I knew you could calm me down with your chill vibes and some beautiful Adele thank you and have a great rest of your day
I get the feeling that you'd LOVE Haley Reinhart . . . . . you should check out her cover of "Don't Speak" or her cover of "Creep". . . . . She even did a chewing gum commercial (Can't Help Falling in Love) that went multiple platinum, if you can believe that!
❤Adele poured out her heart on her new album "30". She shared with British Vogue: "I feel like this album is self-destruction, then self-reflection and then sort of self-redemption. I feel ready. I really want people to hear my side of the story this time." "I just felt like I wanted to explain to him (her son Angelo), through this record, when he's in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life (Divorce his Father) in the pursuit of my own happiness. It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that's a real wound for me that I don't know if I'll ever be able to heal." "I was just going through the motions and I wasn't happy. Neither of us did anything wrong. Neither of us hurt each other or anything like that. It was just: I want my son to see me really love, and be loved. It's really important to me. I've been on my journey to find my true happiness ever since." "If I can reach the reason why I left, which was the pursuit of my own happiness, even though it made Angelo really unhappy - if I can find that happiness and he sees me in that happiness, then maybe I'll be able to forgive myself for it." ❤
Yes. U miss the fantastic echo effect tho when she sings it live. But I'll take this girl any way I can get her, honestly. And hearing her live, ofc, is so effective, where she reaches into your chest & squeezes your heart tight, while u watch her & hear her do what she do!! You hv to feel so grateful -- there are hearing-impaired ppl out there who will never get to hear that voice, never hear her passion in these songs, & never be moved by the whole "Adele effect." And u realize, too ...Adele's bn doing this for, what, now -- 15 yrs? She was born with a good voice, maybe even a great voice. Thank God she realized her talents in her teens, just knew how much better she could be, & was driven to perfect them, the voice & the wordcraft, & her being able to create her, oh, so deadly melodies to go with. Her voice didn't just show up overnight; it didn't. She worked at it, hard -- to get all of that breath control, the vocal tones, and physical tones, too, re diaphram, etc, in learning & perfecting every single effect she uses in her songs -- until they become effortless -- or sound effortless to us. (And she has actually also become a real poet, on top of all that, with superb imagery!!) Her video is also something else -- every last little thing in there has a deeper meaning -- right from the crows cawing at the beginning (crows coming to a house mean death -- and, here, the death of a relationship, the death of the relationship this couple shared while living in this house), to the burst of colour in the video showing her feelings of revival & a new life -- I haven't figured out all of the symbolism yet, but most of it, I think -- and 10 times more than I realized was even there the first cpl times I saw the video -- u hv to look for it, EVERYthing means something deeper; there is nothing by chance in this video -- and it's a v. big Aha! moment when something hits u!! (Maybe you could work on that too & when ready do a critique on all of the constant symbolism thoughout her video for this song!!) Yes, re her voice & delivery, a lot is technique -- and she really knows how to rock it so we beg for more & more. Oh, Adele....thank u SO, SO much for working so hard for us, for developing your craft for us. In looking at your constant perfection, I see the YEARS of hard work you've put in for us, your determination to do better, be better, your drive & your persistance, and I thank u with all I hv to give. U hv so seriously enriched my life. (Sue in Toronto)
Hello LFR fam from the UK, you should react to her live from instagram she sings "To Be Loved" its beautiful, no studio, no mic no booth. just her the piano and her IPAD
Van I gotta tell you man , when I listened to this song. I know it’s about her divorce and everything but when she goes go easy on me , I was still a child didn’t have the time to choose what I chose to do . My thoughts went to all the inmates that were convicted as minors and are still locked up.They should sing this to their parole board. I made mistakes when I was young but luckily for me I don’t live in the Us. I got a second chance because I was young. You guys out there send juvenile robbers to prison for life. That’s crazy. In the song she goes didn’t have the chance to feel the world around me, I instantly thought about that. Some kids when they are young and foolish might commit crimes that they would never commit if they were older and more mature. But of course if they commit 5 or 6 armed robberies they end up with 40 or 50 years in prison.I find that crazy. Even when no one gets hurt , just the threat and theft alone can get you a lifetime of incarceration. These lyrics are about divorce and what not but it is so relatable to these young offenders doing 30 or 40 years. I spent 9 years in prison for crimes that I committed when I was a minor. But in the Us I would not get out until I was 50 years old. That makes me so fortunate and happy to be where I am. I got to know the world around me and got plenty of time to choose what to do.You guys are cruel punishers man , unforgiving.
Her voice is divine, it stirs one's heart and soul.
LFR.. love ya! :). Adele is so stunning and beyond talented! The true definition of music to the ears! ❤
Good morning. Does anyone get brought to tears when Adele sings? Voice of an angel.
🤦🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🤫
Every time ✌️💕✨😭
Yeah, I cry in pain. Horrid woman with a strained, contrived voice
You are so friggin hilarious!!!😂🤣🤣🤣..... you lookin over your shoulder 😍🤣🤣

@@morgan9774 I don't know if you're making fun of me or if it was a typo.
@@kevinnestorek4979 Oh goodness! It was a typo! Lol. My favorite song is Sunrise! She's a great artist :)
Her voice is unmatched to anyone, past or present… period. God given gift and she has shared it beautifully.
"Make me have thoughts", then look back. Loved it.
"sneak up on me and punch me" LMFAO

She has such a beautiful voice!!!
Good morning 🌄 Van. Love hearing this lady💯🧡
She just did a “One Night Only” special on CBS (I think you can watch it still on Paramount+). It was incredible!
The guy playing piano is her producer, Greg Kurstin. He’s a trained jazz pianist. He’s doing a series of cover tunes for Hanukkah this year (did last year too) with Dave Grohl that are incredible.
I’d start with last year’s Hanukkah Sessions last night cover of Rock & Roll.

If you haven’t done her song “Someone like you”, please do- 💜👍✌️ please do that live version as a reaction-
Jewel and Adele are my favorites of all time. Jewell's first album from 1995 is her best!!!
Jewel is other worldly, intellectually and intuitively. If you want some soul food listen to her interviews.
@@jld4870 Your My Angel and Amen are just beautiful.
Wow! That song was amazing! Thanks for doin' thang!
Your thang..oops
You should listen to “Hello” or “Someone Like You” by Adele... mind blowing vocals!

What's not to love about Adele? If you like Adele, you should listen to My Mind by Yebba. ruclips.net/video/RXwE1G7_U9M/видео.html
I thinik this is her weakest album. Very commercial, not much else. For me, anyway.
