Thought I would check out this review as I'm recently getting back in to lego and I was just blown away by the price. Back when I was really addicted to lego a set like this would be 40 or 50 dollars.
yes lego is quite expensive... but I still think it's worth the price :)

The price for the set would have been a reasonable $50 before Disney attacked.

I liked how I can take the cockpit and gun battery and clip them together via the technique piece rods from spares to make a heavy little fighter.

in one of lego's old sets wth admiral ackbar, he had a coffee cup on his desk. The coffee cup is a refrence to that set. It was actually qute funny when I saw it!

when u get the regular x-wing u should build the battle of tokodonna(sorry about the spelling if it's wrong) then you could have the fleet of x-wings coming in to deal with the tie fighters and show kylo there and the destrustion of the castle that'd 've such a cool moc

I bought this and took the cockpit and turret off the end, modified them both, connected them together and stuck it on top of the body of the ship and so created a small resistance command base with a anti-vehicle turret on top for protection.Even though I did this, my OCD still didn't like it.

It is unique that is resembles the B-Wing fighter.
However, I was kinda hoping that we'd also see advanced versions of the Y-Wing and A-wing as well.

It would've been so funny if while David was applying each sticker the time lapse abruptly stops and you just watched him slowly apply each sticker 17 times throughout the time lapse.

The price is not a mistake. I got the B-Wing last year for $50 at Target when it was listed online for $40. It was always like that and it was never changed. It may still be on the website, but not in store.
Just an idea , you should start a project of the Jedi temple. You should try and make a huge Jedi temple with the lights and statues . This would be an amazing project with some friends.
I really like this set! It is so cool in the movie! The price is a bit big but the minifigs are really good!

I changed the Engines to tr light blue instead of the tr red ones lego has chosen. If you see the ship in space you will notice this is also an error from legos side.
I agree very pricey but what do you expect its brand new and it is a set from the new movie etc.

carrie fisher's daughter is alredy in a set, but not as an oficial named character. if you give that minifig hair from general leia, you have a perfect billie lourd's character.

Part of me wishes that the set came with a C-3PO figure as well instead of Admiral Ackbar, but the TFA C-3PO polybag is cheap enough to buy along with this set
i should have added this but i recall they said in Star wars rebel.s they said they where gonna secretly mass produce these so maby its a evolved version of it

In new Zealand, this cost 120 dollars, Command Shuttle is 200, TIE fighter is 120, Milenuim Falcon is 350 and Takodana is 110.

i think it fits right it rounds to 650 pieces witch= 65$ but we get 2 exclusive minifigs, so it's a much better deal than the battle on takodana set

In the US, Lego is not nearly as expensive as in the Eu. For example the First Order Transport costs 100€, that is about 108$.

'Princess' Leia is not the only mistake, on the back are 3 blaster rifle and 1 blaster pistol displayed but it contains 2 and 2 :P and i think it shows the black blasters not these dark grey chrome ones ...

I fucking want lego star wars back in the stores, every set that isn't in the store anymore has become a collector item and became 5x more expensive than it was when it came out.
Look at the cloud city set from 2002, back when it was in the stores it was like 50 dollars, now it's on amazon for fucking 1000 dollars
