- A quick guide on how to get the Welcome to My Home achievement/trophy in Tomb Raider 1 Remastered!
This trophy/achievement is both straightforward and a bit awkward. You have to precisely follow what she tells you to do, otherwise it doesn't actually count for credit on it. The biggest spot I found to accidentally skip a step was on the blue mat, and also on the #2 platform (since you can actually make that jump on a running jump vs grab jump).
Overall, follow each step she tells you and it'll pop up as you get out of the pool at the end and she mentions changing clothes!

I cannot believe I had to look up a fucking guide for this.
While attempting this again, some of her dialogues would not come up, like the one for doing a jump with a direction, the one where she tells you to climb the boxes in the lobby and the ones for #2, #3 and #5.
However, using your video, I followed the instructions even though Lara wasn't giving them and after mimicking what you did here, the achievement popped finally.

Incredible how they "almost broke" this trophy on the last patch updates! The dialogs simple don't work anymore! A lot of them don't start anymore! Just follow this guide, doing everything it's shown here and you'll get the trophy!
Yeah, none of the prompts came up but did as you said, followed the steps in the guide and got the achievement.

They removed lines because they didnt went along with modern controls so you have to do everything with tank controls

For some reason I’m not getting all of her dialogue. She says press the jump button and that’s it. I jump and then she doesn’t say anything else.
Same thing is happening to me!

@@CrownlessKing88 Good news is that if you do exactly what you see Lara doing in this video, the trophy will pop. I got it last night after reading a comment that if you mimic the actions in this video, you’ll get the trophy even if you’re not getting all of the dialogue. Hope that helps! ♥️
Yup same issue even at the gym part the dialogue is so broken and messed up
@KateTheGreatOf1988 I got this trophy 2 days ago. Thanks to everyone for responding to suggestions? I never thought of mimicing the moves that Lara tells me to do. Regardless, she doesn't hardly say anything. Either way, it's still unacceptable, even for a tutorial level. This needs to be reported and patched up.
OMG i was so worried about this trophy i tried it multiple times and it won't pop because the dialogue is so broken and messed up especially right after you jump the first time before using any directions she won't say anything after no matter what I do. Just by following exactly what you did in this video, the trophy popped right away. Thank you sooo much 😭
Exactly! Just got it on PS5 now! When I did it on PS4 when the game was released, it worked flawlessly. The devs just "almost" broke a god damned simple thophy... Unbelievable

Ah ps1, when the game actually launched in working condition.
Yeah, you probably already know by now, but it’s an audio bug on the remaster sadly. Just follow this guys steps to get it cause Laura’s voice is bugged on telling you what to do now.
This trophy doesn't pop anymore. I've tried to get this, but Lara seems to not talk during the tutorial. sorry, but It's bullshit

@timelynoodles So this confirms it. For me now, you've tried this out on your side. thank you. It's their fault and needs to be patched.
Yeah all the dialogue is currently broken, making it unattainable.
@@chrisbfreelance If you just do exactly what you see Lara doing in the video, it will pop regardless of whether or not the dialogue works. I had this same issue yesterday and saw a couple comments saying that as long as you mimic this video exactly, the trophy will pop right after you get out of the pool and automatically brought back to the main title screen.
