how I choose rights. First off I determine how I want to accept rides. Am I looking at the total amount of minutes that it’s going to take to get the ride completed or am I looking at the mileage? You really need to choose one. I prefer to look at time I want to be paid a certain amount of money for my time for example, if you want to be paid $30 an hour, then you need to look at the time compared to the pay. for the $30 an hour example you need to make $.50 for every minute so when an offer comes up what I do is immediately look at how long it’s gonna take to get to the customer and then how long it’s gonna take to get the customer to their destination for example if it takes eight minutes to get to the Customer and then 26 minutes to drop them off that’s a total of 34 minutes. I need to make $17 for that trip or something close to that amount so what I always do is take the time that it’s going to take divided by two and if that number is close to the pay or the pay is over that number we’re good to go. i’ll accept it.

knowing how much you want to make per hour or how much you want to make per mile this is your goal that you have set. If you set yourself a high goal of say more than a dollar per mile or more than $25 an hour then you have to be picky of the times that you choose to drive because not all times of the day are created equal. In the city that I drive in early mornings clear up till about 10 10:30 AM is very busy between the hours of 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM. It’s pretty slow and then it picks up around 3 PM and it’s pretty steady all through the night into the early morning. so if I chose to work between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM, I most likely would not be able to hit my goal so it is key to learn your city so that you can meet your goal.
