The fares are low because the pay/miles are low but the time to pickup and drop-off are not worth it. The time/pay per minute is what the real problem is. It's too low. It's traffic hour and they should pay way more.
I've been getting NAG screens about taking a detour or stopping for too long on the way to pick up a passenger. If you stop for too long or if you take an altinate route it will trigger a warning NAG screen. They're trying to control how we drive now. 🖕
Yes it’s very aggravating especially when we’re taking faster routes than where Ubers trying to take us and when there’s construction or heavy traffic sometimes stopped on the highways.
The other thing is that they will make you believe that the ride is gone, to make you react by just picking anything that comes up next. Then that ride that is no longer available is available to other drivers and sometimes they pop it back up to you. They are disgustingly manipulative.
I just subscribe to your channel because I always want to show the word what we are going through out here but I don't have a channel but you did it for me thank you so much keep doing that good work with those videos I hit the like button also am out about a month now going back to 9 to 5 my taxes I have to pay back $6.000 and change I make a $ 100,000 am change gran last year but still don't worth it 80+ hours a week and a 100 .000 miles not Worth my car wouldn't finish this year
You're not putting away for taxes? I get the 80 hrs. Because that is a lot of hours, however, you should have a car dedicated to doing Uber. When I started I bought something with a good gas record and able to last a long time with high mileage. A Honda civic with the spoiler kit. I don't want to be on the side of the road with a flat tire or some other mechanical problem. We're you doing uber luxe? I heard they do long hours but it's mostly waiting for a rider and they pay pretty well, so I'm told. I have my class A license but I won't drive a semi unless I have to. It feels good not having to be at a job at a certain time everyday.
I live in a mid size city in Illinois. About 100,000 population. My area is saturated with drivers, in my opinion, however, after watching your video my market isn't so bad. Like someone else has pointed out., that $45 would be in the $80s plus a tip. I guess your market is more saturated than mine. Im glad you showed this because it put things in perspective for me. I dont get to see there destination in my area, however, the works like this. If i get a high paying trip the next one will be a lower paying trip. Then a medium and back to a larger one. If its two small one in a row then it has slowed down and I can clock out.
Dude, wish we had these in Vero Beach. Small town, so any direction is about 15 minutes away. Trip radar, surges, etc don't exist here. There's a few in your video that were paying $1 or more per mile. They weren't too bad.
Now they inserted a ‘$55 for 70 rides’ challenge lol! I don’t think that’s a challenge for us, that’s a challenge for UBER and LYFT. I’m lucky if I get 50 good rides a week.
Is that an app where it shows you the info at the top of the screen when a request comes in? Where it shows the per hour, per mile and the actual address or business.
First I decline, then I decline again and when I’m all done… I decline again. Then repeat all above. DONT make Uber richer while you’re breaking even. NEVER.
It is unbelievable how bad this is on some US cities. Here in Brazil, drivers (which btw are mostly uneducated) complain about Uber pay all the time. Of course we're not earning USD, but just numerically speaking many of our costs are similar. R$1500 (Brazilian reais) apartment is similar to a 1500 USD apartment That being said 13 Brazilian reais for a 40 minute trip as seen in 0:17 would be absolutely crazy, especially on Comfort. We would probably be getting something around 30 or even 40 Brazilian reais. Our costs with gas and the car itself are WAY higher, but still... That kind of garbage DOES not happen even in shithole Brazil.
The inaction on the part of lawmakers, the FTC, The Federal department of labor, The Federal secretary of transportation is one of the reasons rideshare taxi platforms are able to establish and sustain the slave labor policies reminiscent of the colonial era of slavery.
That's in Florida. The slave labor state of Trumphf/AKA/BABY HITLER. Any state that supports TRUMPHF gets shafted. When he was President he made the policy for gig companies to do as they wish to gig workers. EXPLOITING HUMANS!
Thank you GOD no more Uber I quit I was do same thing and i stop I don’t know than why I want I get so mad 😡 when I don’t get the trip I want than I start fuck up my account because Uber %80 garbage 🗑️ trips they keep sending and after 10 years driving with this garbage company now I quit and you going to quit too my friend because you do same I do before and best luck for you ✌️👍
Cabs charge 2.50 a mile, and we are getting offers for .71 cents a mile.. Unreal.
You guys afto train the computer
Cab charge 3.5$ per mile in my city and we get poor pay
That’s why you cherry pick.
@Mo.863 wait till your motor and trans go out.

😂😂😂😂 thats y you dont take anything
No pops back because the other drivers don't want it or they clicked it & then cancelled it after really reading it.
@@Cassie4486 I have watched it carefully, it's the algorithm programmed to be manipulative, including ghost trips
What is the name of the application you use to calculate time and miles?
Mystro
Lol those offers are ridiculous 😅
It would be helpful if you explain what is happening and why.
Depressing

That's crazy, you're in a surge but the rides are crap. I don't do shared rides either.
Man if I had a car I’d be taking everything under 5 miles yall trippin

Uber n Lyft so cheap in USA compared to other part of world
Thats what they do is pay drivers enough so they leave before everyone is fired because Uber is going with self-driving cars!!!!

They trying to pay you on a highly wage like u work for them and take the rest
Trash! Not worth it!
Your market is so bad! 😢
I think you should get off the freeway.
So keep complaining instead of getting a real job, the only they want from you is the use of you and your car,,, wake up already
