Another Uncle Henry winner.
Great review 👍.
Thank you kind sir. 👍
Oh wow! I'm loving this knife. Stag handles are sweet!
Thanks FrogFrog, always makes me smile when I see you comment. Much appreciated. Take care buddy.
Very useful knife with a great price, the handles and brass details are a nice touch, thanks for showing it!
Good size for an EDC even. Thanks for having a look, Jose.
You didn't say what kind of steel it was made out of. I have a brand new one that I got on a trade and was wondering what kind of steel it was made out of, to see if I'm going to keep it. If I do I'm taking those crummy handles off and putting some real stag ones on.
The blade steel is 7Cr17MoV.
Looks like great size fixed blade.
Very handy size. Seems very capable too. Thanks Gizmo.
Really nice looking knife, I like the blade profile a lot.
Very good smaller camp/hunting fixed blade. Hard to go wrong for what you pay.
I just bought this knife based upon your review and love it! Thanks so much for the review!
Glad to be of help, Aztecs. Thanks for watching and glad your happy with the Mini Pro.
I've pretty much collected all of the fixed blade knives that I like to use for hunting, but this one is tempting. I think it would make a really decent edc fixed blade as well! Thanks for showing it off, buddy!
I agree, David. It's small enough to belt carry or even make use with a side carry sheath. Thanks for the comment.
Nice knife . It would make a great " first knife " for the novice ( or for that matter
the experienced ) hunter , not wishing to spend too much on gear . It would also
serve as a E.D.C. or field craft knife ( full tang , is always a plus ).
All in all a good knife at a good price point .
Great review .
Yes the size would be appropriate for smaller hands and the ease of maintenance for new knife owners. Thanks, Michael.
Great looking knife! Nice classic design!!!
Yes , this would be a fine gift for someone younger. Take care.
I have the 1st gen and this little knife just does it for me. Fun to EDC also. Nice work!
Thanks very much CCO. I like the size of this one, a very handy camper.
Very nice and beautiful knife thank you TK
Yes indeed, I appreciate you taking part in the channel. Fixed blade fun right here.
@@ThriftyKaniffy 👍👍🎯🎯
A nice, compact and practical blade, with a good authentic, traditional look overall👌
I'd prefer a double 'running' stitch or ideally a 'saddle' stitch, but at this price point, it's a bonus that it even comes with a sheath 😉
Nice video TK, thanks for sharing,
Atb Gus 🍺
The included sheath should be looked at as a small bonus, there's certainnly better made ones out there. Training wheels of a sort.
I like this knife so much, I bought another! (The wood handled version.) I live in a really knife-phobic area, and nobody has raised the alarm yet. The brass rivets aren’t really rivets, but thin covers (one of mine fell out) but I’ve never needed more knife than this yet, and I’ve carried mine a lot.
Ok. Hard to tell (rivet/ cover). That's pretty telling if you bought another. Thanks Jon.
@@ThriftyKaniffy They’re just covering bolts, I could care less. It doesn’t affect the function in any way.
I picked up the UH 1085925, perfect length, D2 steel, real antler handles the only nit pick is it's not full tang, but I'm not going to be using it for anything that would demand a full tang. That's what the 169OT Generation is for. That thing is a D2 tank. 👍
Thanks for the specific feedback. I always like to hear what people are using, Alpine.
Thanks for your video
You bet, hope it was useful Prop. Thanks for joining the live.
This next generation Stag is the best thing that's happened to Uncle Henry in years!
I do enjoy the Next Gen more than the old. This is a great smaller fixed blade.
I'm ok with inexpensive fixed blades so long as they are full tang. Even budget steel can hold up well, so long as its thick enough, solidly built and has a half decent heat treat. Buck's been working with 420 for decades and due to their excellent heat treating process, their budget steel holds a very good edge. Granted, I wouldn't consider Buck a budget brand by any means, but that's beside the point...lol
This seems pretty rugged. I'm not gonna chop trees with it but I don't see why you couldn't use them as an EDC at this size.
@@ThriftyKaniffy Ya, for sure, you could totally use a small fixed blade like this for EDC. 100%
I think that’s my last one I have I may have a little stockman left too I’m loading up on stuff to give away I even got something funny from wawa I may not show the items this time I don’t know yet!!!!
Gave away all the Uncle Henry's? I thought you only reviewed a few of them?
@@ThriftyKaniffy I didn’t really review many of them!!!! I know I’m too all over the place!!! I have to calm down just like my GEC knives I didn’t show them either I have to get some organization bigtime
👍👍👍 Thanks for the support.
