As a Minnesotan, I can promise you that people live for this every year. And the fact that it’s right in the city and not outer state, is just phenomenal.
@tiesthatbind5056 oh, she must live in the twin cities metro... what she is referring to is how Gov walz explained the rest of the state as "just rocks and cows"... he or ppl in the twin cities could give two F's about anyone outside the metro but love to visit the lake on the weekend
The guy holding the "fried something" on a stick giving the thumbs up in the background, had the best comedic timing which is hard to do considering this is a vlog about comedians.
I am a Minnesotan-my favorite thing about this is, short of the camera, nobody would know you were not some dudes who took the day off from their jobs at the plant at 3M to go to the fair.
I was there at 7:15 opening day and the last five days. My favorite time of the year! Love the fair! Usually go all 12 days, had to cut it short this year.
Thank you to whomever took the footage and then edit and posted it. This was fun!! I was laughing and clapping and cheering through all the game playing. I wanted Harper to receive a prize. And, Nate receiving a standing ovation at a large fair is a big deal - you know all those people were tired, fat and lazy. But...y'all are the BEST!!
Grew up going to the fair with my parents. Back then we could park on the roads inside the grounds until the attendance was overwhelming. My dad would go to the races and I went with mom to the arts and crafts building. Saw my first concert there in the late ‘70’s. STYX. caught a couple of demolition derby’s and races before those ended and it became a concert venue. Best fair in America hands down.
Twin Cities born and raised - our fair is the jam! I am so bummed that I missed your show. Wish I would have come when you were there. Please come back next year!! And yes, we are ALL about our hot dishes. : )
❤me a state fair!!! I used to go to the Colorado state fair every year with my daddy!!! He has passed, 93 years old, R.I.P. I have not been back since. We always meant to go to the Iowa state fair. That was 4 years ago. This made me want to go back❤!!!! Love you Nate!!!! And all your crew-needed to know who was with you😊!!! See you Wednesday, bright and early!!!❤❤❤❤
Wow. Now THAT'S a generational difference. I'm from the very beginning of Gen X and every guy would love to ride the Zero Gravity ride. Maybe one kid wouldn't want to. The airline seatbelt doesn't hold you in... centrifugal force does. It's a blast and we all had fun every time. And if we could talk the kid that didn't want to do it into doing it... he'd have fun too.
I grew up sneaking into the fair everyday and spending til close there back in high school drinking at night and cozying up to the girls from my high school and a couple closer schools. MN Fair where no one has any airs, that’s the best. Everyone is an equal in the 90 degree weather amid the space needle.
Watching the arcade games was interesting because I grew up 4 miles from the fair in NE Minneapolis and we were not wealthy. I saved up my allowance, birthday and lawn mowing money all year for the State Fair. There was no way I was going to waste it on a fixed carnie game. Only the rides. So I never even spent time watching the games let alone playing them. It stuck and I've still steered clear of them.
As a Minnesotan, we absolutely should be judged by those of us that you meet at the fair. We're very proud of the fact that everybody goes and has a great time. And that's who we are. So there!
George Washington. And I went to a comedy show in WA. He sold out and added an afternoon show which also sold out. FUN Wish more afternoon shows for bus travelers who don’t travel late at night. Comedians and concerts
nothing like a Midwest State fair. Haven't been to Minnesota, but I've sure been to Michigan's a few times. and we call them casseroles. now I live in Los Angeles and nobody knows what either one of those are. Bc carbs, I guess. jk jk
If I were playing that throw the ball in the colored hole, I would want to measure the diameter of the red holes. Also see if there’s a slight rim to divert it. I saw one ball that should’ve gone into a red hole but diverted around it. Or maybe it’s just a dumb game and I shouldn’t over analyze!
The TX State Fair is the largest by total attendance, and MN is the largest by average daily attendance. Even the Iowa State Fair website doesn't claim to be the largest fair; it's just the largest event in the state.
Come to the DuQuoin State Fair in DuQuoin, IL next year. It’s not the largest fair and no one knows why it’s called the “state” fair. I mean there is no state of DuQuoin but Larry the Cable guy was here last year. Small town USA fair. Let’s stick state in the name just to make it sound bigger. Pay no attention to the Illinois State Fair in Springfield. We are THE state fair in IL

Please explain wtf "outer state" is
@@tiesthatbind5056 If you don't know, it can't be explained. Lol

You can't

The State Fair is who we are. Please come back again, you’re always welcome here.
My sister and I were there with you, and the show was AMAZING! Thank you for coming!
The guy holding the "fried something" on a stick giving the thumbs up in the background, had the best comedic timing which is hard to do considering this is a vlog about comedians.
He was made for that one moment of perfect timing!😂
“HOOPS BARGATZE” 🤩 Winner! Winner!
I live in Minnesota 🥰
I love these behind the scenes videos! What a fun group. 😊
Glad you like them!
I am a Minnesotan-my favorite thing about this is, short of the camera, nobody would know you were not some dudes who took the day off from their jobs at the plant at 3M to go to the fair.
Be real, 3M probably is having an employee day at the state fair or something
I was there at 7:15 opening day and the last five days. My favorite time of the year! Love the fair! Usually go all 12 days, had to cut it short this year.
Love these home videos. Seeing the family on their trips. Having a fun time goofing off
Mike James and the backpack pouch of Dramamine is everything. Sponsorship deals here he comes! Guessing Stephen Bargatze hooked him up on the Afrin.
Thank you to whomever took the footage and then edit and posted it. This was fun!! I was laughing and clapping and cheering through all the game playing. I wanted Harper to receive a prize. I went to this show. Sooo good, classic Nate.
you did a great job and were loved..come back here for sure :)
This looks like tons of fun!! All these guys would be a super fun hang!!
I've never been to a state fair, but I'd travel to Minnesota just for that cheese curd stuffed pizza pretzel and the chocolate dipped cheesecake!
That’s just the beginning of the awesome food. I start my food wish list the year before 😆
You betcha
Me, too!
Hey, me too! Let's go!
As a Minnesotan, I'm biased, but Minnesota is absolutely one of the top 5 states idc what anyone says lol
Politically it's stupid but the Minnesota state fair is the best
Politically, fair wise, and otherwise it’s in the top 1 states.
My favorite state. Been there twice. Only 10 hours. I fell in love with it from the movie New in Town on DVD. Harry Connick Junior and Rene Zwelleger.
Me too, and you are correct, sir!
More Minnesota State Fair, please!! And will we ever be able to see your full performances??😍
"I've never killed a deer, i want to because i want to talk to my dad again" 🤣🤣🤣☠️☠️
Have been missing out on life, never been. Need to go next year - thanks for fun coverage 🎉😘
my wife and I saw were at the show! it was fantastic!
❤❤❤❤❤❤ what a great time for everyone!
Looks like a blast....GOOOO JACKETS
What fun! The crazier the ride, the better!!
Oh gash, hey! Ya gotta love the fayer! I haven't been in several years, but I'm still Minnesota proud. Are ya gladja went?
" I'm not going to call him a psycho, but something's wrong. " 😂😂😂😂😂
I enjoyed this immensely!!!
I was just at the fair yesterday…..great now I’m craving a pork chop on a stick and a 1919 rootbeer

We do have the best state fair on the planet. We just know once its over, summer is over.
I didn’t know Nate Bargetze was going to be at the fair! That would have got me there.
I grew up sneaking into the fair everyday and spending til close there back in high school drinking at night and cozying up to the girls from my high school and a couple closer schools.
MN Fair where no one has any airs, that’s the best. Everyone is an equal in the 90 degree weather amid the space needle.
Even though Nick Thune clearly despises the Minnesota State Fair, I still love him dearly... because I'm just that magnanimous.
woot woot ty for Mn Fair!!! I am a Min too!!
I didn't expect Nate to have such a big posse or entourage, rivals the biggest rappers.
As a huge fan of Nate, the Minnesota State Fair, and Minnesota Golden Gophers basketball, this video was GOLDEN!
I’m with Mike, I get sick just looking at the rides! No way Jose!!! Needed to see someone do that bungee cord thing!😂😂
Derek and Julian are the best!! Still waiting for Derek to be on the podcast!!! Also, Nick looked like SpongeBob on the gravitron! Love you guys!
"You're gonna see someone on a roller coaster in the background." They should add that next year.
Wow! Nate’s a good basketball shooter!!!
Seems like yesterday I was lined up to see Kenny Rogers one night and the next Air Supply.
Looks like fun!
Went for the first time in’71, saw Sugarloaf perform and I think I sat in those grandstands to watch stock car races.
👍🏼😎
!!! Headphone warning !!! They did not use a wind screen on the microphone. It sounds like a hurricane in your ear.
2:47 Sooo funny! Hot Dish & Meaf Raffle for nicknames.
This is one of the best lines I love it
I'm SO sad I missed this!!!
Sweet stroke Nate!
As a Minnesotan, please do not judge us by the people you meet at our fair.
That applies to every state
Or the food.
True and true. 😂
As a Minnesotan, we absolutely should be judged by those of us that you meet at the fair. We're very proud of the fact that everybody goes and has a great time. And that's who we are. So there!
Wow, Nate’s experience playing half-court basketball with an invisible ball on carpet in his Christian middle school really paid off! 🤣
Turr Lurr is making a comeback!
Protein with Creatinine Paste 😂 😂 😂
7:49 Nate's the MAN!
Was that Lauchlan Paterson?? He'll yeah!!!
Is that Derrick stroup? Love that guy!
If you are not familiar to Nate Bargatzes' humor watch his opening monologue from when he hosted SNL, it's funny as hell.
George Washington. And I went to a comedy show in WA. He sold out and added an afternoon show which also sold out. FUN
Wish more afternoon shows for bus travelers who don’t travel late at night. Comedians and concerts
Nate should’ve been a NBA all star!!!!😂😂😂😂
What an ending lmao Derek
3:10 that’s now a snow plow. That’s a snow thrower!
The dizzying camera work is like riding the tilt-a-whirl.
Nate off the glass for the win.
Nate's high school carpet ball league finally pays off.
Boys...will be boys.
Man making Big Dollars goes all in for miniature Basketball.
America: We can't cure cancer, but we can fry *ANYTHING.*
A wind screen would’ve maybe been helpful here but what would I know (as a minnesotan)?! 😅
Great video, I just came home from the fair.
The homeless pimp is going mainstream, great to see it Mike Lavin. Keep up the great work
Holy crap! There’s more people there than there was for Bob Dylan in 1990 or 89 maybe. Wire Train opened.
two words. wind screen.
Who else thought Nick was Post Malone at first 😂
nothing like a Midwest State fair. Haven't been to Minnesota, but I've sure been to Michigan's a few times. and we call them casseroles. now I live in Los Angeles and nobody knows what either one of those are. Bc carbs, I guess. jk jk
I have found that Bonine works better than Dramamine and you only have to take 1 a day.
Title said something about Nate Bargatze
I feel awful for not knowing, but who’s the dude in the yellow shirt who went on the tilt-a-whirl ride? Dude was funny!
Nick Thune!
@@Nateland Thank you! This led me to Nick’s channel. ‘Me Show You: Earth’ is hilarious! So good. I hope everyone here checks it out.
Proof that Nate will do stand-up anywhere.
YIKES! I thought the dude in the yellow shirt was one of the locals they were making fun of! LOL! Oops!😅
That must be your partner in the wood chipper then?
If I were playing that throw the ball in the colored hole, I would want to measure the diameter of the red holes. Also see if there’s a slight rim to divert it. I saw one ball that should’ve gone into a red hole but diverted around it.
Or maybe it’s just a dumb game and I shouldn’t over analyze!
Minnesota State fair is a great time no matter how boring Nate is as a comedian.
To record the stage audio, they actually stuck a fork in a lemon and wired a tape recorder to it
😂😂 wasn’t allowed. Sorry buddy!
Correction the Iowa state fair is the largest
😂
The TX State Fair is the largest by total attendance, and MN is the largest by average daily attendance.
Even the Iowa State Fair website doesn't claim to be the largest fair; it's just the largest event in the state.
Come to the DuQuoin State Fair in DuQuoin, IL next year. It’s not the largest fair and no one knows why it’s called the “state” fair. I mean there is no state of DuQuoin but Larry the Cable guy was here last year. Small town USA fair. Let’s stick state in the name just to make it sound bigger. Wind screen?
Not wearing a shirt?! What fair are y’all at? I live in New England and we usually keep our shirts on at the fair ( Well, the women do) 🤷♀️😂
Dude in the black shirt talks just like nate, is it his brother?
"You have lower class and middle class." Does he think this is 18th century England?
Is everyone Nate’s with tall or is he short?
The state fair is where none of you will be recognized 😊
State fair is awesome. BUT, Nate, you had mostly old material 😝. There’s so much fodder for humor in MN. Next, bring us new stuff!
❤❤👍👍👍❤❤❤👍👍
Why does he look like Hozier?😅😊
Was hoping to see the Never Walz booth
You skipped the food and the drinking.
Who are these people?
We are going to ignore that Nate isn't even in this video?
Do you ever do unfair jokes?
(Clean your camera)😊
